Is Collin Millar worth condsidering as a future All Black 10, 27 points was a pretty descent haul and he is in descent form, still only young?
Cam Millar haha. Yup only 20 years old, and every young SR starter is worth keeping an eye on so yeah, why not. Looks a fairly composed 10, plays a more traditional style where he plays a but deeper than other 10s, haven't seen him take the line on a lot yet, but Admittedly, I've only seen him play twice and Highlanders fans would be able to shed more light on him than me.
Cam is a good prospect. Reads the game really well, kicks well, but I am not sure he has the running game to be an ABs ten... certainly wouldn't write him off though, because he does have elements of his game (composure and goal kicking) which would make him well suited to test rugby.

“So, Scott, if you could give us one reason why you should be the next ABs coach, what would it be?”
“Crusaders 2024.”
“Job’s yours mate, well done”
-
Sam Cane won't be involved with the ABs, if he was ever in contention. Edit: at the end of the year. Finished with the Chiefs though.

Robertson is being hung, drawn, and quartered before he's even picked the team.
Tough crowd in here.Reminds me of the hype around Deans. Hopefully Robertson is a bit more successful.
Deans did really really well coaching a snake pit in Australia. Consdiering how the next few coaches went (literally) he was fine.
Still shouldn't have gone though. One of our biggest rivals, right in our media cycle - just go takea NH job for more money and less stress

Blackadder (despite having a great engine), is the Josh Lord of the South Island.
Pffft, even with the name Lord he hasn't recieved a fingernail of the hype of Ta$man Jesus. He's barely Naki Altar Boy in comparison.
But yes, foodbill wise he's up there, same with Sullivan.

Interesting that Stuff article on Cane mentions a 32 man AB squad. Presume nine front row, four locks, six back row, two halves, two first fives, four midfield and five in back three?
Why not 20 front row?
-
In my opinion I believe Sam Cane will be in the All Blacks this year.

Three halfbacks is a lock in, so probably shave off a back row.

Given we're talking two domestic tests, I'm not convinced three halfbacks is a lock. I expect it will come down to who Razor wants to take a look at. Great shame there's no AB XV match in July.

In Super Rugby, teams travel with 27 man squads. This always includes a spare hooker, prop who can play on both sides and a halfback, because they're specialist positions. All Blacks even when in New Zealand are travelling, so they'll definitely cover three nines.

I think the Six Nations sides all dropped their standards this year (which is normal following a World Cup and I'd generally expect the same of the NZ and Oz, except they've both got new coaches). Wales and Italy may be the exceptions but the only way for both was really up, and it's hard to measure their competence given the drop of the other sides.
If full sides are selected we'll soon know how shit the 6N teams are
