I can see how players like to play for him , hopefully it works at the next level

@Stargazer yep mate as I said it was also maybe how questions were answered etc, and to be fair as you say it was program about him, and perhaps I just not overly keen on programs on coaches before they startedjob? Could be good as got us thinking rugby.

The temptation for a new coach is to miss lessons learned (not gonna use the other stupid word) during the previous tenure in the rush to stamp their own mark. If he's taking the time to debrief the senior players that is a good sign to me
im sure its been done before. i would be more surprised if they didnt

A bit of a fluff piece, but he spoke really well. And really hit on some points - gotta embrace modern sports engagement, you’re a public figure and you will be judged. Also ‘there’s a percentage against your name’. Stuff that has not been talked about previously, but really needs to be (trying not to Foster moan!)

Learnings lessened? (Was trying to type lessoned but autocorrect came up with something more apt.

Strange is one of two locks with the size for test footy. The other being Parkinson. And the other is Sam Darry ...
Too beanpolish.

Not sure it needs explaining... am not commenting on the relative abilities just noting that of the two who have the size the three are ...
Maybe I missed y'all's subtlety...

TV1 broadcasts a special segment on "Sunday" about Scott Robertson.
Typical GOM Fern: it was too much about Scott Robertson.
One person criticises something about a segment that aired.
Typical GOM definitely not one of the most ardent Crusaders fans: Typical whole TSF.

"At test level it is different. Having been at the World Cup, they are bigger bodies, there are more small moments that have big margins on them,'' Robertson noted.
"The kicking game is so critical, the defensive game and the discipline. So how can you embed those core things early? You can be open to all information or be really, really clear.

As long as no one raises interminable Razor arguments - I'm quite happy to actually wait until he selects and plays his first team.

I'm a fan of reading statements like this:
