Eddie goooone?

Raiwalui too

They got exactly what they deserved. A Rennie coached team would have made the QFs at least, I’m convinced of that. Anyone responsible for his hiring needs to go.
The collateral damage to the careers of blossoming #10s and former captains who deserved much better is a disgrace.
Let Larkham achieve something first. His time will come. They just need a good leader with a coherent plan. And NZ needs them to have that too.

Maybe not as daft as it sounds if relations between the players and the ARU have broken down and need mending. Foster clearly inspires player loyalty.

Jeez, he is a rat, isn't he?
-
Remember Eddie going apeshit at that Aus fan calling him a traitor? Seems like that cut a little too close to home. What a piece of shįt that guy is.
-
Hopper for coach.

No, he played for Randwick. I’m sure he hates Warringah 😉

This is some Wests Tigers level shit.
I used to have a pretty good opinion of Eddie. But this year has been an absolute disgrace. The results and standard of play have been terrible. Conceding the World Cup before he even left should have seen him sacked on the spot.
But the fights with journos asking legitimate questions was a poor look. And the remarks about Michael Hooper were actually disgusting. He's behaved deplorably, he's been a complete failure on the field. And this mythical quest to rebuild the wallabies has actually done more harm to the game here than good.
Fuck off Eddie, you are a traitor. And the guy who hired you should be crouching in front of his sword right now. Or would be, if he had any integrity.

@mariner4life nailed it
its actually looks so dodgy...this result had to have been a real chance in their minds, thats why he was talking about youth for the future, would have had some respect if he'd stuck to his guns and tried to get it right next time
but jumping ship tells me he must have honestly thought rennie was shit and he could walk in and be a saviour...but what hes done is fuck over his national team
-
@mariner4life Bang on.
It's one thing to fail, and nobody is suggesting he had the talent at his disposal to win the trophy.
But to take on this chippy, combative persona, drop a bunch of senior players and then deliver a steaming pile of mess on the biggest stage? Nah. No thanks.
And then he's taking interviews with Japan despite signing a long term deal.
He can fuck right off.

this guy had it right

And we thought the NZRU was a shambles, the ARU is a clown show on steroids.
Firstly: we're now "RA" = Rugby Australia
Secondly: this is an organisation run by the best Rugby Men that our Rugby School System has to Rugby Offer.
The kind of men who will come together in times of need, to write a letter decrying the presence of a woman in the CEO's chair, whether justified or not, and remain silent at all the shithousery they were part of.
Is it any surprise we are here?
And it's no shock this Jones chap behaved like he did: he didn't go SHORE.

Is that actually confirmed?
I don’t disagree with it being a shambles. These administrative and governance issues stem back before Eddie’s appointment. They were certainly there during Rennie’s time.
The problem I see is that in the quest for “results” and the rhetoric around not being satisfied etc, there has been a failure to recognise or even acknowledge all the structural and other problems. Getting rid of Rennie the way they did was case in point.
This will hopefully be the rock bottom moment to make everyone in key positions see reality.
