@Machpants too stupid - if you click on the picture can’t you see my profile with a bigger picture of ALB perving on my serious dutchman friend?

Slowly getting processing power back after France.

I've seen enough David attenborough Documentaries in my time to know how a Predator looks at prey

That girl is about to eat ALB

And then spit out the bone(r)

Just had a look at the updated forecast, looks pretty clear through the day with rain moving in just before the game .

A dry track spells last minute "injuries" to the Bok squad.

I mostly lurk. Sometimes post. Wanted to get this down before Saturday's collision:

As an SA supporter, there is no other team I'd rather play and beat in a World Cup Final than the All Blacks. Short of that, there is not other team I'd rather lose to. I've followed ABs ups and downs under Foster, but always always thought that the reports of their death as a force to be reckoned with was way overdone. I am not at all surprised to see them in the final. Just as I am not surprised to see the Boks there.

There seems to be a genuine dislike in some quarters of the SA rugby game, coaches, players. All I can say to that is that when you look at the actual players on the field this weekend, there seems to be only respect and in some cases genuine camaraderie and friendships. So I let the guys at the sharp end guide me on that front. These are two fantastic teams with very different styles that should give us a great game.

Boks are gearing up for an attritional game in wet weather and relying on a second pack to come in and do the business. Simple fact is that the replacement tight five is of starting quality. ABs can't match that. However, they can negate the impact of the Bok plan due to exceptional game runners at 9 &10 and a rugby intelligence across the backline that is able to bring the rapier compared to the Bok sledgehammer.

I think there is nothing in it. Good luck boys.

Very respectful post, not sure that's going to fit in well.

I do genuinely hate all the time wasting, water runners, medic breaks, flashing lights, 35 minute front rowers etc, but if you can get away with it & win with it, then so what?

Yup it pisses me off, add rassie disgusting video rant and HIA rests, it's all gamesmanship rather than game. Boks don't need that to win imo, but they do it anyway. Tarnishes their achievements.

So my respect has gone right down, for management and brand, not the players. Probably a bunch of good kants. But the way the team plays the non-playing parts of the game is a blight on rugby

Yep this. They're not Italy or Georgia. They have stupid amounts of talent to play proper rugby and win. Instead burner phone psycho has to pull this crap and turn rugby into some kind of quasi NFL shite.

Isn’t it awesome? Rassie for coach of the tournament!

The hate towards bomb squad is ridiculous.... Boks are playing to their strengths and to their depth. Something all teams try to do

@Rancid-Schnitzel stating the obvious, but you don’t get to decide how others play rugby. That’s one of the reasons why it’s a great game. Changing the rules to suit your idea of what rugby should be is super lame and short sighted. I happen to like the way the boks play. The England SA semi was intriguing and absorbing. Love the way the ABs play too. Good luck tomorrow, I’m definitely very nervous about this game and not at all confident.

Game day here in France. Sadly not much atmosphere since France got knocked out. But also not many neutrals either. Everyone I've spoken to wants a New Zealand win.

Feeling pretty laid back about it. If you asked me before the France game I would have happily taken a final but now that we are here I hope the boys put together a performance like the Ireland match. That way win or lose we put it all out there.

12 hours till kick off going to be a long day.

@mooshld There are worse cities to kill time in. I would thought a walk along the Seine and a trip to see Napoleon would be a decent way to pass a few hours before the big match.

Coz that's never happened. Rugby's rules have never changed because people wanted the game to reflect the way certain people want the game to be played.

Fair play to the Bokke to maximise their strength for the current rules.

But the rules should be changed because this 7-1 NFL bomb squad HIA protocol abuse is shit and should be eliminated.

Best way to advocate change is for NZ to annihilate SA playing tough, running rugby

@booboo the HIA stuff is a problem. Slowing the game is problem - stop the chatter, players going down for fake injuries, waterboys. Don’t mind 7-1 split.

    Poo.

    Stayed on ok for me.

But for those saying you can get the Sky NZ comms on Stan, can you give step by step instructions or admit you're trolling us?

Have not found the magical option.

Wrote to Stan even, and they don't know how to do it. Apparently there is no option to do so ...

@booboo for NZ games there literally has been a NZ commentary option, like a new game selection. Doesn’t appear until game time

There's two tabs for the games, one with RWC commentary and one with NZ commentary.

    Right. May or may not be online during the game so;

No more cards to Scott Barrett please.
No slowing the game down for a bazillion fat bastard water breaks.
Give Sam the keys to Tauranga.
    Arise Sir Ian Foster.

    GO THE ALL BLACKS!
