The All Blacks the clear favorites for the final. The Springboks will have to play out of their skin for 80 minutes.

Wouldn't surprise me if the team is changed due to injury a couple of hours before kick off ...

    An 8/0 split?

I called that first, damn you!

Has everyone heard the Mallett voice message? Dunno if legit or not, but the one interesting thing is that he alludes to using the bench really early, and if need be, bringing the starters back late if there are “injuries”.

Not making pre-emptive accusations, but something to watch for…

    Matfield on Kelleher

I swear Matfield had a crowbar taped to his forearm….

Yes, they’ve already shown a willingness to magic up HIAs to keep the back row fresh in the second half, wouldn’t surprise me if Rassie has found another genius tactic to keep swapping the front row rolling sub style. Make a substitution, that player should not be allowed back on the field. That was your choice, you’re a player down.

Are those the actual rules or the rules you think should be applied?

The rules I think should be applied. As it stands, if a front row player goes off with an injury, he’s not allowed to return, if it’s tactical, he is.

I would hate see a final with dodgy tactics used but I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens. If we ended up on the wrong side of the ledger, I couldn’t fathom having to read a 10k page thread lasting for four years on the topic

Do you think Rassie will do some dodgy HIA moves Paarl?

@Frank Rassie always produce something exciting for us. They worked since 2018 for this final. Expect the unexpected.

All this talk of Rassie. He's not even the coach apparently. It's some bloke named Jacques.

"Andy Farrell was also nominated for World Rugby Coach of the Year, and he is up against Ian Foster (New Zealand), Jacques Nienaber (South Africa) and Simon Raiwalui (Fiji) for the prize."

So if RM doesn't play, will they go with BB or DM at 10? I'd go DM at 10.

It will almost certainly be DMac to 10 and perhaps Leicester to the bench.
