@Billy-Tell As Foster said, bringing SB back on for 5 mins in a game already won was a risk not worth taking after the YC.
I wonder if we could have played with an extra back instead.
Could have made things fun.Penalty and red card. Against the spirit of the game.

Dilemma.
Marathon is next Sunday. Fly out Friday.
The world cup final is this weekend. I'd made the decision not to attend as I've invested far too much into this run. Preparing for literally over a year. Am in the best shape I've ever been in and feeling great.
Irish's friends Dad has just offered me his ticket for face value (450 EUR) and he has an airbnb as well which I can use.
So that is a quandry ... I've put so much focus on this run (perhaps too much focus) and thats my number one priority. Nothing else.
Anyway, dilemma is. Eurostar or fly.
Not a huge amount on Eurostar available …

I see World Rugby are now formally investigating the racist claim by Tom Curry involving Bongi Mbonambi.
The next few days are gonna be interesting -

@Hooroo so we have become just another one of those teams that don’t care about results between world cups? Don’t thinks so, that’s never been the All Blacks. Win or lose the World Cup that doesn’t change the results over the past 4 years and Foster will still have one one of the worst records as coach of the AB’s. Credit where credits due if Fozz wins the WC, but the AB’s have always been about winning, wether at the World Cup or not, and that aura has been severely diminished under Foster.
You actually got it a bit wrong mate, Foster (as a coach)actually has the best results in competitions since he took over anyway, Won Tri nations, theRugby championships, held the Bledisloe and Freedom cup. This team is only one to do that in professional era under any coach So if results are everything you missing the point. I not arguing one way or another on his ability, just you may need to just redo your argument.

That is totally ignoring context though... in that Tri Nations series, we lost to Argentina and drew with Aussie, only won it because the other two sides weren't all that.
Don't forget that home series loss to Ireland either.

The next few days are gonna be interestingI am predicting they will find no case to answer whether it happened or not. They have to be seen to be doing something, but there is no way in hell they are going to put themselves in a position where they have to consider banning a player for the final.

@Crazy-Horse you mean the 3rd/4th playoff right?
-
@Crazy-Horse Justice for Mbonambi armbands?

So when Foster wins it's only because the opposition were poo. When the ABs lose, it'll all down to Foster.
Who'd be a coach in a RWC Final eh?

@akan004 not sure if attending a PC points to selection, or has this been a trend during the WC?
Leaving out the experience of Coles in a final would be a massive call, especially when you take into account the form of both players. I feel Coles has been pretty influential throughout the World Cup and if they go with Tamaiti/Newell off the bench you will need grandad in the middle of them just in case shit starts to hit the fan.

It has been in the past. However Coles did the press conference last week and then didn't make the 23
