Dumb that the ABs put themselves in this position. Thought it would come from SB though.
The game is fucked with the rules as is. Understand intent to protect the head but I would be just as irate if this happened to the Boks. Game ruined. So if we keep it close a moral victory? I say fuck it and sportsmanship and go postal. Not normally my response but I am filthy right now.

I get that Cane should have been smarter. But it’s the lack of consistency that f&*ks me off. Similar has been seen in this tournament without it being upgraded to a red. So much of this seems subjective. And when the opposing team gets away with something of similar nature you realise the game is cooked. You just can’t have the pinnacle of world sport blighted by lottery-like decisions by unaccountable nobodies in back rooms. It’s a joke.

Looking at the red card in real time, it really looks like fuck all. Slowed down of course gives the ref no option. But its disappointing that the biggest game of the world cup is all about Barnes and the TMO.

I don’t think our kicking game has been too bad. Need to get our chasers going though.
Keep putting pressure on their lineout, that is vulnerable.

It’s the quality of the chase as much as the kicks, Jordan seems to jog after the ball

It was, but we are effectively sending players from the field for errors in judgement where they have missed their target, with no ill intent. I can't really think of another sport that does that and it hurts the spectacle.
