@Billy-Tell Ireland will have to lift again to play Scotland next. It will be v impressive if they can sustain this level into the QF

Yeah they have 5 tough games in a row to win. This is the best Irish side I’ve ever seen. So well coached.

@chimoaus only 1 scrum free kick, no resets or pens?

One penalty vs SA for early hit I think. But yep scrums going well so far.

Combined penalty count of both teams would be exceeded by us in 40mins 😉

I’m curious how Ireland consistently have one of the lowest penalty counts each game. If they can do it why can’t we.

@Smuts you had the same issue at Twickers. You don’t seem to be ruthless.

From a kiwi pov, I still think I’d prefer the boks ,

Just think the key is to match their physicality, not easy but at least you know what you have to do,

Beating Ireland for me feels a bit more complex .

I also want to know why we cantt be as quick to the cleanout or as well drilled.

Our clean out work and discipline will need to be exemplary to beat either of those sides.

@chimoaus they get away with a lot, but I guess that just means they're doing it well.

If we tried to run their phase play obstruction we'd run into each other and the Barretts would knock each other out.

I love how an Irish carrier looks isolated, at the tackle, but the cleaners come from a distance with such perfect timing. So they have awesome momentum and hit exactly as the ball carrier goes down

Not sure we have a chance against either of these teams at the moment. Roll on the Razor era !!

Aki has been sensational , makes you wonder why NZ rugby didn’t keep Ngani Laumape, it’s such a point of difference having a big dynamic ball carrying 12
    Especially with the rush defence
