Well, SA's goal kicking under pressure could be a problem for them.

SA taking the absolute piss tonight as well with rolling subs. Should only be able to bring a player back on if it's concussion caused by the opposition.

Finn Russell is fun to watch. That was genius.

SA are excellent at getting a tackler on the wrong side to obstruct the first attacking cleaner.

Quite a few similarities this match to our game.

Scotland trying a lot but turning over at bad times. SA lifted and dominating second half.

Also very good at jackaling the body and not necessarily the ball and making it really hard for the cleaners to move them

Ireland have both of these teams back to back and then a QF?

Unfortunately yes. Ire v Sco will be massive.

Your compatriots think SA are over-rated and Scotland easybeats. I would have though Irish fans have learnt from previous world cups and take nothing for granted.

SA vs NZ. FRA vs Ire. Think that will be the ¼. SA vs FRA final.

The ref constantly telling SA trainers and medics to get off the pitch and not actually doing anything about it is ridiculous.

Not the day to have had a spliff before kickoff

    Needed speed

Unfortunately there's a lot of bellends following Irish rugby since they've improved the last decade or so. Bandwagoners. Pundits and media are the biggest offenders.

I’m glad I valued my sleep over that game.

Poor old Scots, an extremely tough must win game coming up soon just to get out of the pool

By geez that Bok pack is pretty good, and complimented by some backs who just play the game, without overcomplicating it. Geez Kolisi is a man who sets a standard on field. Bloody good player and leader!

SA were not convincing at all … felt the game could have gone either way up to half time. Concern is Kolisi seemed to be limping. Pulled soon after making a steal.

    Seriously? Penalty for THAT?

If Farrell had done that to DMac you’d all be setting fire to torches and arming yourselves with pitchforks

    Not from me.

But continue on your pro card crusade.

It’s an anti dumb and dirty player crusade

Dumb and dirty can be vastly different though, yet both are treated the same as clumsy and accidental, that's the problem imo

Yeah you’ve basically become the new NZ 😉

    "Your compatriots"?

Utter bollocks. No one thinks SA are over-rated.

Some might think they might play turgid, robotic, terminator rugby - but it's highly effective at winning games.

Any knowledgeable Irish rugby fan isn't thinking beyond getting out of the pool, and if they do, could they possibly win a quarter-final for the first time.
