Righto here at the stadium. Atmosphere iis crazy, all in good spirits. They are setting up for the opening ceremony. It is stupidly hot and humid, phone says 34 degrees, man it is gonna be hellishigly hot and ball will be like soap. Stadium filling up nicely, waiting on beer!

The French came with a hair of pooping on party in 2011. But for Beaver’s coolness and McCaw keeping going on a broken foot, they’d have done it. I have so much respect for French Rugby and this French team.

@Tim Don’t think I have been this pumped for a game since the 2015 final or the 2011 final or the 1995 Semi against England.
I am enjoying that our boys are going to war against a fucking good side in what will be this evening, in many ways, an absolute cauldron.
