Allblacks.com has updated their stats page. It might look good but it's nowhere near as user friendly as the older website.

from their perspective, objective achieved. 'looks' is more important than substance for many decisionmakers

It's fucking terrible, I was going to do a rant about it on the grumpy thread the other day but didn't get around to it.
The players pages are useless now. The breakdown of position's played has gone, you actually have to go into every single game and look at each player. They no longer have when a replacement player went on and who they replaced.
It's genuinely a terrible update and it's a shittier product. This is what happens when the corporates take over from those (The Rugby Museum) with a genuine love of the game.
If you can't provide all the relevant info in your new shiny skin then just keep the old skin.
This has actually made me angrier than it should.

The World Rugby website has gone way backwards too. Full of incomplete information and errors. Nobody seems to care about accurate record keeping any more.
The SVNS app is shithouse too, go to follow live for an event and it never fucking refreshes for me after the first time opening, so I just stay stuck on the games from the first time I opened it that weekend. Have tried refreshing, force stopping the app and even deleting the cache/data and nothing.

Just get Duluth to do it.

You are so right there. Have looked for other ways to find information, like who players 24 and 37 are, and given up as so long winded.

Nah, I think we (like other nations) have been sold a dummy with private equity. I thought it was the correct idea based on the sales pitch but there is no more money to be had. We'll be lucky to break even with the silver lake deal, same the abs recent performances (along with the all blacks 7s 🤮) isn't helping
It was always a shit deal. We are lucky the original one wasn’t signed. Trouble is everyone believes in perpetual growth and greed takes over.

FYI:
It's the view of the mods that sharing one genuine paragraph of a paywalled story may be acceptable, if you link to it (to generate potential traffic for the news outlet), but if you wish to share more, just summarize it in your own words. Do not take the piss either by squeezing 3-4 paragraphs together to make it look like one.
As a rule, any news article posted on a Fern should have a link back to the original source.
