England deserved the win and the Cup as they had been the outstanding team in the world for the 3 years leading into the Tournament, but they rode every inch of their experience to get it.

I went to the Wales game and it was NOT the night I was expecting.
Confident as fuck going in that semi too

The final was a high quality game of rugby.

Can't wait for the next one in Aus

Unsurprisingly to some, my favourite RWC but bloody hell, we had some unnecessary scares along the way. Samoa, Wales and France were all very loseable at one time or another. Less so v Aus in the final, I always felt we were on top.

Enduring memories include being in a pub in surry Hills after the Scotland v Fiji game

And every Scots supporter just raving about Rupeni

I saw that one live at Aussie stadium. Pretty handy living five minutes away. He was untouchable.

Luckily the other 14 Scots were a bit better than their opposite numbers and got in the quarters vs Oz the week after.

Living in Sydney was bloody good fun, can’t believe it’s been 20 years !!!!!
