@KiwiMurph why wouldn’t he
As it was a Knowler article I would have been surprised if he didn't

Dmac, SS and WJ will be interesting to watch, not particularly sold on the midfield or their service from halfback (until Smith gets subbed on) however.
Forward pack is solid enough.
If this team rolls the aussies their RWC will be over before it starts.

Love it! Foster showing some enterprise at last. Super interested in seeing how some of these players cope. Christie and Ennor are the only ones I would question.
I actually like the side as well.
There’s a decent engine room picked. Plenty of experience even with a debutante and a second test player.
It will be interesting how SS and WJ play at the back together.
WJ and LF worked well together during the super rugby season in those positions, so I’m pretty excited to see it art this level.

Have you seen the pool they’ve got. Easiest ride to the QFs ever….

I hope Finau folds people.
I hope SS plays a fucking blinder, and he gets to show his strengths
I hope Dmac plays flat at the line and gives the Wallaby defenders absolute kittens
I hope Jordan punishes every single ordinary Gordan kickAnd i hope we somehow stick 50 past them

As in their chances of winning it, not just making it out of their pool.

Different expectations though. If Wallabies make the semi finals I would say that's a successful World Cup for them for where they are currently at.

I'm quite surprised they put out so many changes, for the most part, I have no issues, just really surprised.
Only one I am not happy is Christie, but will be interesting to see how he goes starting rather than his erratic style off the bench.

a question i wouldn't mind someone from teh ARU answering
If making the semis was considered a success given where they are currently at, what would have been considered a success a day after the French game in November

I’m not as negative as some ,these guys won’t lack motivation .
Scary proposition for Eddie knowing the critics won’t be kind if the b team put on a big score

I think this quote by Hamish Mclennan a couple of weeks ago sums it up on Eddie Jones
“I was always looking at Eddie for the 2024-27 cycle, so to have him early is a bonus for us.”
Wallaby focus is really on 2025 Lions/2027 RWC.

lol at the thought of the average Eddie Jones team after he's been in charge for 5 years
