what a turnaround on Stevenson
How is it a "turnaround"?
-
@KiwiMurph Devlin had the same team on his show "from a usually reliable sauce".
We'll see.
-
I suppose because he was only injury cover for Telea to start with and missed out on being named in the squad.
I think it is just reward for a player who seems to have impressed in his time with the squad.
It makes sense to give him 40-50 minutes as, if he is called into the RWC squad (assuming he missed initial selection) and is thrown into a knockout game, he at least has had a taste of test rugby.

Exactly. 8th ranked outside back, given a run in dead rubber.
Not a "turnaround".

That's a really shit team. I don't think you learn much with that many changes, the new guys are on a hiding to nothing.
I'd try Stevenson, McLeod and Finau only. See how they go surrounded by the top selections in other positions.
Williams and Rogiard from the bench.

Exactly, hard to look good in a team that is basically brand new, it would be a mess

i thought this was just another "woe the wallabies" derpus post, but he's fucking right
on Sportsbet they are paying $17 and we are paying $1.01
That's fucking ridiculous -

@game_film This is a dead rubber and NZ could name 3 separate teams that would all beat the Wallabies. Wallabies are paying $21. I would be benching my entire starting 15.
There were some encouraging signs I thought last week.
But this isn't about Oz, IMO it doesn't help us for the World Cup. After the past few year's results, I'd rather storm into the tournament with a settled side and confidence and form.

This game is to figure out who makes the squad on Monday.
i struggle to believe that this game in any way has any bearing whatsoever on who gets selected Monday.
