    @pakman

I agree, he is locked in and that his body of work for the year will count against him.

However, Ryan looked very pleased with him after the 1st test so perhaps that might just be enough for him.

I suppose because he was only injury cover for Telea to start with and missed out on being named in the squad.

I think it is just reward for a player who seems to have impressed in his time with the squad.

It makes sense to give him 40-50 minutes as, if he is called into the RWC squad (assuming he missed initial selection) and is thrown into a knockout game, he at least has had a taste of test rugby.

Exactly. 8th ranked outside back, given a run in dead rubber.

    Not a "turnaround".

If that is the team I feel sorry for McLeod, even in the B team he's named at number 22...

That's a really shit team. I don't think you learn much with that many changes, the new guys are on a hiding to nothing.

I'd try Stevenson, McLeod and Finau only. See how they go surrounded by the top selections in other positions.

Williams and Rogiard from the bench.

Exactly, hard to look good in a team that is basically brand new, it would be a mess

Every time I see Nick Frost's name - I get The Chills.

Without wishing him ill - there's got to be a red card coming.

Nick Frost - bye bye bye! 🙂

@game_film This is a dead rubber and NZ could name 3 separate teams that would all beat the Wallabies. Wallabies are paying $21. I would be benching my entire starting 15.

There were some encouraging signs I thought last week.

But this isn't about Oz, IMO it doesn't help us for the World Cup. After the past few year's results, I'd rather storm into the tournament with a settled side and confidence and form.

@Kirwan ABs will play their top side vs Boks at Twickenham - that's the tune up game.

This game is to figure out who makes the squad on Monday.

i struggle to believe that this game in any way has any bearing whatsoever on who gets selected Monday.

At the other end of the spectrum Eddie Jones has yet to give his 3rd hooker or 3rd halfback a single minute of gametime.

Taking this super seriously, lol. Wallabies screwed if they win or lose now, win it's the B (C?) team, lose and it's a fucking disaster.

@Kirwan is it, though? Pretty much all of those players are still better than their Wallaby counterparts.

    That's a pretty shit team.

If certain players are poor, we'll have no better idea of whether it is them or the combinations.
