Australia v All Blacks - Bled I

that team is a pleasant surprise
turn up with purpose and we could flog them.
Aus have picked a big quick backline so our forwards need to squash them and our kicking needs to be on point.

One of the things I like about the development of the team this year is we are starting to see depth off the bench, particularly with a couple of injured players to come back. Not very long ago the subs were a massive step down. Not so much now.
yeah that's a sweet bench. We look so much better with the 3 locks playing as locks. So much of that obviously rests on Frizzell maintaining his form.
But ST, Whitelock and ALB off the bench, and even clark and ofa, that's serious impact.
-
Starting to get a much calmer feeling of trust when I read the names on the team sheet.
Wasn’t expecting that
-
good team, looks like they will look to similar tactics to start like last week given the combination players. If we get up by some margin that bench looks like it could allow for different combos and tactics although clearly they are focused on win first
Frizz to hopefully continue momentum
-
Probably the best bench we've put out for a bit?
I'd rather ST start, but Codie earned the start again, not much to complain about.

or more a slow learner...?
lol what? The vast majority of the team have been in place for years.

I also like Jacobson off the bench, but have to think this means DP and AS going 80?

They've got options. Jacobson could come on at 8 and AS could shift to 7. AS could get subbed and Whitelock comes on as captain. Jacobson could come on at 7 in place of Dalton (especially as Wallabies don't have an out and out 7 in the 23).
-
I like it. Strong team, strengthening combos and consistent selection. Now they just have to perform on the day.

Yeah, I was just typing something similar.
We also have to factor in whether SB replaces Frizell at 6, or he or BBBR are subbed for Whitelock.

I think we've missed a trick with no DMac on the bench. Surely he's the sort of player that will tear Aussie to shreds in the last 20 mins, be it at 10 or 15.
