Add Ofa, Colesey and Nepo and you have the Bulk of AB Bench. 6-2 anyone? https://i.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/all-blacks/300929876/all-blacks-quintet-released-for-npc-preseason-action-in-te-awamutu-on-saturday

Jones has made major changes with fullback Tom Wright the notable omission from the squad after two straight defeats to start the season. Wright has been left out of the squad along with Brumbies teammate Pete Samu and Rebel Reece Hodge. Josh Kemeny and Matt Gibbon along with Reds prop Zane Nonggorr have also made way, with Pone Fa'amausili and Blake Schoupp retaining their place in the squad after they were late inclusions for the Sydney Test. It comes as a host of players return from injury, headlined by Rebel Andrew Kellaway. Kellaway is joined by backrower Langi Gleeson and outside back Jordan Petaia for the Tests in Melbourne and Dunedin. Prop Taniela Tupou has also been confirmed to return after coming back via Australia A last week in Tonga.

As much as people hate Eddie swapping and changing his squads, he's brutal when it comes to form.

So Ala'alatoa has been dropped? Selective form then.

The depth between backs and forwards isn't a 1:1 ratio

If Bell and Tupou are fit, the Wallabies are a very different team.
Bell is excellent in the loose but needs game time to work on his scrummaging.

I'm not sold on that argument. Tupou loses the ball easily in contact and is lazy in defence. And he's not Australia's best scrummager.

Kellaway is a much better fullback than Wright. Not sure why the latter was picked in the first place. I think the Wallabies can put together a pretty good team. It’s a shame about Ikitau (their best back IMHO), but Petaia is not a bad replacement. I’d put Valetini in the ABs and I think Angus Bell is a better ball-in-hand prop than some of our established players. I rate Tate McDermott ahead of the ginger guy in the ABs. They have the makings of a very good team. And Eddie is a sharp mind. I definitely wouldn’t be writing them off.

On the other hand Kellaway is a better winger than fullback, Valetini looked better at 6 for Brums than 8 for Wobs, Bell's set piece work is very much work in progress and Petaia has played very little rugby recently (let alone rugby at centre).

And that is when the sh#tbags are at their best...... And history repeats itself for the umpteenth time.... Cripes I hope the ABs give them a good, relentless shoeing while they are down but you can never trust the convicts. Always have some kind of criminal mastermind plan. It is in their DNA!
