This channel can always be relied on to take Bok losses hard.
"analysis"
I can take these YT warriors seriously when they don't understand simple concepts such as binding. And then having the temerity to say the refs don't know what they're doing.
I see them as idiots like us Ferners but who have decide to switch a camera on and talk rather than rant away in threads. In saying that, if YT existed in my early 20s when I was an uber rugbyhead I probably would have done a channel myself.

@NTA Every fucken time Willemse got it, he called him Mapimpi. The only similarity is skin tone. Mapimpi is fucking bald!
One time, Willemse got the ball, and he said "Willemse with the ball now... no it's Mapimpi"

Re the exits thing in general.
I reckon we saw one of the issues with RWC cycles here.
I reckon they were adopting a strategy for this game of utilising those up and unders inside their own territory.
I recall watching a match a year or more (and more) ago, and Rod Kafer talking about that tactic that England were using, to bomb it to about 40m out, get a chaser to jump into the catching zone to disrupt, and even knock the ball on. Worst case result: scrum to opposition. (Well, actual worst case is their possession). Was a good exit tactic.
Bokke did exactly this to us couple of years ago.
But what I mean about the World Cup cycle is I think we were seeing testing of a specific tactic. One that we can use on occasion.
Whilst it smacks of dry powder I think it's a thing.
Like 2011 where it was obvious different tactics were used in the tests before the RWC.
Another thing that they seemed to do a bit was the pick and go through the ruck: where dude looked to be a cleaner, then picks ball at his feet. Suspect tactic to drag the D in closer. Noticed it several times. Not something I've seen us do much of.
Seemed to stop that after 20 or so?

D-Mac seems like a genuinely good bastard doesn't he
Some school days banter: BBBR CBHS and DMac Christ's, which is why Brodie reckons he knows how to tie a tie.

Just watching again and I reckon Faf was lucky that he didn’t get a yellow card for what was in my view a deliberate knock down. He just jumped into the pass and put his hands and feet out. You don’t “catch “ an intercept like that.
-
@ACT-Crusader would've been interesting to see what the assessment of Jordan's game would be if he'd given away an intercept try.

Pissed that they didn’t name check @Victor-Meldrew as In the Shed’s biggest fan.

As an aside, did you notice how quiet Faf was? Kept well under control by our loosies.

I agree, I think Scooter is a starter with Whitelock most at risk.
Scooter’s workrate & physicality has been a big reason for our lack looking as good as it has in the 2 tests
If Frizzell is able to keep this level of performance then I am quite happy to see us rotating the 3 locks heavily with Vai’i used mainly as a sub
-
There was a tiny knock on clearly visible on the replay that the TMO made his decision on.
It was so small that it was hard to detect in real time but it was there
-
@DaGrubster Thanks mate I didn't watch the game 😬

Frizzell has been a revelation, I didn’t see that coming,
was convinced they would have to play scooter there ,
now if he can keep that going, we have a selection headache , a good one

@Bones given he touched it when he leapt, he has to regather it without it touching either BB or the ground...one of those things didnt happen.
Which one?

Lol I think @taniwharugby was just being nice, what I think he meant was neither of those things happen.

The commentary on the Japan AB XV game was way better.
Although not to the same level of Nisbett, TJ mis-identified players too. He might have to hand back his Ta$man PR card for saying AJ Lam was Nankivell.

To be fair the AB XV players all looked a bit the same. The Japan side was easier with all those pakeha, maori, Samoan and Fijian players to make identification so much easier...
