@Kiwiwomble Pretty much the whole team, with the exceptions of Lord, DMac and Narawa - and he had no choice with Narawa.
He could have picked Retallick and Mo'unga, so he's made some little dice rolls there.
What he hasn't done is pick a bunch of new caps - Williams, Finau, Roigard, McLeod and Stevenson.
I'm guessing we might see one or maybe two of these guys on the bench vs the Boks.
If we lock up the Bledisloe in Test 1, we'll probably see some of these guys getting a test start in Bled 2.
He could have picked BBR in the 23, RM to start, and Taylor/Sami to share the #2. That would have been more conservative and closer to a “big game” squad. Unless those guys are banged up, I don’t like what’s he’s done.
And with Cane at 7, I’d have preferred he go with Finau at 6 for some more impact with ball in hand.
Anyway, time to be positive - I for one am looking forward to seeing a spark from Ennor off the bench for the last 15 - the Argies won’t know what’s hit them!

If Dmac is starting, it would have been good to see SS in there as well. Potentially, the ABs territorial kicking game could have been improved significantly.
BB... I will be screaming at the TV if we fuck around at our exits and put pressure on ourselves as we have been doing consistently since 2019. ....sigh... I know it is going to happen and I need to mentally prepare for it but the game is on at 4:00 in the morning here so alcohol is not an option. What? Why?
Anyway, I totally agree with BB and exits, is as bad as any team I've seen when he's doing them. That is when he's not trying to be clever and chip it behind them 🙄
As to Barrett, the form one, he would've empties his two last weekend, so he might actually come off. But he's normally a full 80 guy, massive engine, form ABs forward this year so far

Problem is Foster doesn't even have any idea why he selects players,I am sure he uses the dartboard method, that is pretty clear over the Foster error oops era.
Where as many on rugby forums pick theirs from where the players are from, or what looked good on tv highlights. If only we knew what was best huh??

@KiwiMurph its a double kick in the nuts, he doesnt have that extra motivation to improve...keeps his spot and keeps getting paid even when not trying...and young guys coming through are killing themselves to get a shot and getting disheartened when they dont get it....and then get blast in the media if they go overseas
same can be said for frizell is seems

I think Barrett is going to be the Mils of this year.
If one of the young FBs gets a chance and shines, and he continues with the chip-kick exits, he'll be the big name dropping of the year.
It's hard to get dropped - too hard under Fozzie - but I still see it happening.

@Dan54 So you like Beauden at 15? He's five years past his best and has been playing 10 all season (poorly). He's undropable it seems despite being below par for nearly the entirety of Foster's reign.
Not up to me to decide who I like at 15 mate. I not privy to training etc, I don't think he been great this year at 10, but it all depends if you pick what super coaches etc pick. I do think once Jordan was out it was him or DMac there, and can understand DMac being tried at 10. I think RMo is probably the preferred 10, but by christ we don't want to assume anyone in any position will be fit for whole year. I somehow think that CC is on trial on left wing too somehow, but once again I guessing as much as anyone.

Haha no accounting for taste is there,
I think your selection standard is of a very low standard.Yep and you know what mate, it's probably as good as anyone's on here, and doesn't make an iota of difference because we never have to be proved right or wrong.
