Is it too late for me to change my prediction and back England ?

This Test looks like their best chance yet, between bowling first and both sets of selections & injuries.

Is there a gun English gloveman who realistically could replace Bairstow?

Well if you keep selecting a muppet like Bairstow you reap what you sow.

Prediction: we get rolled for under 200, then the sun comes out and England bazball to 400

Foakes. Cricket chat going nuts about Bairstow.

    What he said.

With Pope out, move Brook and maybe Root up the order. Then a combo of Stokes and Bairstow. Foakes as wk and a more than handy batsman. Still allows for an aggressive strategy and we get a bloody good glove man.

England win that session easily. Some good bowling, having figured out Warner years ago and Labuschagne more recently.

The Waj undone by a peach.

Will be a hard road from here
