Ashes 2023
-
Australian team update:
For Australia, Mitchell Marsh replaces Cameron Green who has a low-grade hamstring strain following the second Test. Scott Boland comes in for Josh Hazlewood who is being managed after playing consecutive Test matches. Todd Murphy replaces Nathan Lyon following his calf injury in the second Test. Green is expected to return to full fitness for the fourth Test at Old Trafford.
Was a few well placed Twitter rumours about M Marsh or Neser joining the team.

I just heard a faint rumbling……I think it was @NTA ’s head exploding.
Is it too late for me to change my prediction and back England ?

Wood steaming in with 150 k deliveries. And swing too. Good to see.

Is there a gun English gloveman who realistically could replace Bairstow?
Someone physically fit?

What he said.
With Pope out, move Brook and maybe Root up the order. Then a combo of Stokes and Bairstow. Foakes as wk and a more than handy batsman. Still allows for an aggressive strategy and we get a bloody good glove man.
