Just watched on replay. That boy Roigard , he deceptively fast and strong, a bloody hard worker. Am loving the work of the front row, cant recall seeing a Canes scrum dominate and demolish the opposition so overwhelmingly before. Lomax a tireless worker, and Aumua a wrecking ball are looking very good. Am also liking the burgeoning partnership building between halves Roigard and Cameron, who was pleasantly surprising at 10 tonight. Some deft touches. That 50-22 was gold. Add in Lakai and Love, and this Canes team are looking dangerous.
Our up the guts runs are relentless. There were times where I don't even think the 10 was involved, it was Roigard passing straight to the fatties to cart it up

Proctor has been playing very well. But Sullivan is a quality replacement so no issue here. But I would have him in the reserves to cover the midfield just in case. Also Nadolo would give another start. He did much better as the match went on so play again to see what he can do
We need to rest Ardie either this week (MP away) Or next week (Force at home). It will be a bugger resting him for a home game but I would. I would also have Blackwell in the reserves. And start Roigard again. But take him off earlier if the game is won by then.
The next 2 games are almost must win games considering the tough finish the Canes have.

@Winger How far away are guys like PUJ and Ruben Love from returning?
I don't know. But PUJ I think is out for some time. (TJ we know about as their have been articles on his recovery).
Canes don't supply this information (as some teams do. Players out and an estimated return week). They are getting better but still a long way to go to keep the fans informed. Teams need to up their game in many areas and this is one.

Bit late watching this game, but maybe Fox knew what he was talking about when it came to Cameron all along? A good start for him, hopefully it continues.

When the bloke finally gets to ground the Tah just flops on the wrong side?
maul called - so no 'right side' when collapsed
So you can flop on the ball though to prevent it coming out? Genuinely didn’t know that
yes - if it was called a maul. No obligation to release when they go to ground. Well, as I understand it anyway -- @Damo knows the actual laws!
I have given up the whistle these days.
However I don’t really agree that you have stated the position accurately. The position is that when the maul collapses it must be immediately playable, otherwise it is a scrum. Accordingly there is no requirement to roll way like in a tackle.
However you can't hold onto the ball on the ground if the halfback is right there and would otherwise be able to.access it.
Nor can you flop on the ball after the maul has collapsed to make the ball unplayable when otherwise it would be there for the halfback.
I add that I did not see the game you are talking about so I am not commenting on that incident.
Frankly, it is still cricket season.

Finally watched the game
Some random thoughts while I’m sitting here drinking too much I’ll spell names wrong so using numbers…9and 10 combo is about the best we have seen at the Canes. Not flashy but just really really good. But man Cameron can’t tackle, at all. He makes Mehrtens look like Kaino
9 is the future AB 9 or I am a donkey dick.
Proctor finally showing why he was worth the huge investment. Always been solid on D but finally showing some attack. Next year if you need a bolter who could cover the back line you could do a lot worse. And is this the best front row we have ever seen at the Canes? Has to be by far the best mix we have had.
