@Bones speaking of 9s, why would you play AS this long in a losing battle?

Paea made 2 tackles, missed 8

So powerful he was just blowing on them to allow others to make the tackle.

How the hell is a player supposed to be able to move there? What a fucking shit ref this clown is.

Being unable to move is still your fault, intent does not matter, your there and shouldn't be. Commentators have even stopped whinging about those calls

Utter nonsense. Every referee course knows that when a player is trapped by actions of others that they should apply some leniency. Every Chiefs player pinned him into the ground with no option to escape.

I think far too many get away with slowing down play by "accidentally" falling on the wrong side, I would hope for no leniency there.

That clearly wasn't what happened though in this situation.

I suggest you watch it again.

I saw Frizell clearly trying to hold up a tackled player for a maul.

And what eventuated was actually a tackle with three Chiefs players immediately pinning him in. You have to be blind not to see that.

Exactly - so if the Chiefs are pinning him in why should it be a yellow?

That's my point. It should never have been a YC.

If you're on a team warning and you give away a penalty then it's yellow

It shouldn't have been a penalty. This is super simple stuff to comprehend.

Nope you're wrong, that's the way it's been judged for years. On the wrong side? Tough shit, shouldn't be there. Being held there? Tough shit shouldn't be there.

Plenty of evidence in the last two Super Rugby seasons to say you're talking out of your arse. Coments from refs like "you put him there" or "don't hold him in" and refusing to penalise a defender that can't move.

Yup you're right. I should've said " On the wrong side? Tough shit, shouldn't be there. Being held stuck there? Tough shit shouldn't be there" Apologies

They ran out of reserves I think with Hunts injury.

Is this the worst Landers back three ever?

Well it's not even in the same universe as Goldie, Brian Lima plus one other or Bender, Naholo and Fish n Chips 🙂

Because they had to move him to 10, with Hunt being replaced by the Landers' other halfback. They had no other subs left on the bench.

I really though the Chiefs would put more points on this Highlanders team who currently remind me of the Force: Limited skills but if you don't make your initial dominance pay, drag you down.

I hope Smith remembers how to run this year, the literal couple of times he did it last year for the abs he was devastating

Roigard should be given the opportunity to start. His running game is looking as good as Weber's, his passing is better.

Agreed, looks to be the most suited to test level rugby out of the young halfbacks running around. Someone said on here that Roigard looks like a young Joost VW. Would be pretty stoked if he ended up as good as him.

Hunt scores and it's 21-14 to the Chiefs and its game on. Very costly not getting that
