I know it's early season, but even if his form falls away a bit, I don't see how Stevenson can be ignored for higher honours.
Whereas all our tens look shit
I haven't been watching much but DMac has looked great in the last ten.
Weber's pass is like he's a different player - and you can see the effect it's having on opening up space everywhere.
DMac's kicking has been dire, but apart from that he's been good. Looks a far more composed and mature player - less headless chicken moments.
Early days in the season though,
Apart from dropping the ball cold 3 times.
And kicking like an utter tosser
Yep
-
Is this the worst Landers back three ever?

@Bones never realised he was so tiny, Dmac is bigger
Send him to 7s, he'd be great there.
So brave though, catching that giant ball.
-
How is Hunt still on?

Dmac has just got worse and worse today.
...and then stops an almost certain try on the goal-line.
The Curse of the Fern strikes again
-
too easy.
-
Roigard should be given the opportunity to start. His running game is looking as good as Weber's, his passing is better.

And I get accused of not paying attention...
Ratima might be better than both.

@Bones speaking of 9s, why would you play AS this long in a losing battle?
The comeback is on

How the hell is a player supposed to be able to move there? What a fucking shit ref this clown is.
Being unable to move is still your fault, intent does not matter, your there and shouldn't be. Commentators have even stopped whinging about those calls
Utter nonsense. Every referee course knows that when a player is trapped by actions of others that they should apply some leniency. Every Chiefs player pinned him into the ground with no option to escape.
I think far too many get away with slowing down play by "accidentally" falling on the wrong side, I would hope for no leniency there.
That clearly wasn't what happened though in this situation.
I suggest you watch it again.
I saw Frizell clearly trying to hold up a tackled player for a maul.
And what eventuated was actually a tackle with three Chiefs players immediately pinning him in. You have to be blind not to see that.
Exactly - so if the Chiefs are pinning him in why should it be a yellow?
That's my point. It should never have been a YC.
If you're on a team warning and you give away a penalty then it's yellow
It shouldn't have been a penalty. This is super simple stuff to comprehend.
Nope you're wrong, that's the way it's been judged for years. On the wrong side? Tough shit, shouldn't be there. Being held there? Tough shit shouldn't be there.
Plenty of evidence in the last two Super Rugby seasons to say you're talking out of your arse. Coments from refs like "you put him there" or "don't hold him in" and refusing to penalise a defender that can't move.
Yup you're right. I should've said " On the wrong side? Tough shit, shouldn't be there.
Being heldstuck there? Tough shit shouldn't be there" Apologies
