forgive my ignorance but is there a NZ supporters' song for this RWC? If not, could they try for a Kiwi one this time not a cover of some else?
If there is a spot for requests, mine is to convert Black Sheep by Gin Wigmore, if only for the lineOnce you go black, you never go back
I'm a black sheep (changed to freak?)I wasn't born a beauty queen but I'm okay with that
Maybe radio won't mind if I sing a little flat
I wear my boots to bed, hang a fern up on the wall
To save me from a shallow break who wants to take us allThis is rugby. They don't really do song and dance

True, in 2015 they chose an Ed Sheeran number.

Who's 'they' - I don't remember an All Blacks 2015 song, and I was there for half of it

@Kiwiwomble Also look at how far Fozzie is from the ginga, weird he'd select him when you can clearly see he despises him. Are NZR enforcing a ginga quota on him?
The real question is, does the quota extend to two players, and if so, who is the other one? Fletcher Newell? DMac?
I think you may be colourblind.

They is the press. Official or unofficial, I see Fire was cited as the All Black RWC 2015 anthem overseas, and local press should have known better

Am is extremely overrated, a very average defender who had a few very good runs on attack, don't think Esterhuizen is any worse. De Jager is decent, but the Boks have enough good locks, I reckon. Pollard is going to bite them in the ass, because they don't seem to have a kicker and just a bunch of full backs masquerading as first fives.

I doubt they find a centre who chews gum as well as Am. Big loss.

Centre Stage - official Manu Samoa theme song for the World Cup

It seems really troubling to me that we could have sides reduced to 14 or 13 players in key games at the Rugby World Cup as Red Cards are issued in bunkers by anonymous officials who we might never know the names of with almost zero accountability.
This new systems opens up huge scope for corruption and for heavily backed favourites to lose key players early in games at the behest of betting syndicates or sponsors.
I’d love to say that I trust World Rugby, but I don’t.

Reckon it was multiple shooters on the grassy knoll myself.

@Billy-Tell I remember you using the same ‘joke’ on the Laporte thread.
Nothing’s happened yet, but I can see huge controversy ahead if a side effectively gets knocked out of the tournament by a dubious Red Card from the bunker to a key player early in a game.

Cmon man. You’re spouting conspiracy theory nonsense!

@Bones said in Rugby World Cup news:
@sparky didn't I see the other day that they're doing the 20 minute red card now, unless it's deemed deliberate foul play?
No. They are only doing the yellow first then bunker has ten minutes to confirm yellow or upgrade to red

@Billy-Tell I’m uneasy about an unprecedented reduction of accountability and transparency around the issuing of Red Cards. That is hardly the same as proclaiming the moon landings were faked.
