Tom Not Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, or Bangladesh Test Sides Latham.
So... banking on Henry Nicholls.
Or England as Tom has a test century against them as well.
One swallow doesn't make a summer
One more than you have against England Mate.
If that's the standard we have to post to, we'll have to shut down the whole forum now...

Not even of the ground I reckon.

I would back myself for a well compiled 0 (1).

So Matt Henry to come in for test 2 presumably.
Any other changes? Young?
Has to be Young or Philipps for Nicholls. Also Henry and Bracewell

Well by the looks you don’t need any sort of defensive technique to play Cricket for the Black Caps anymore, So everyone is up for selection I reckon I could knick one threw slips and jag a boundary.

Young will score not much he is vulnerable to knick off as he loses his off stump, Poms will love him.

So long as these two bat out the rest of the evening session and then through to tea tomorrow we are a shout.
They've already amassed an 11 run partnership, England will be worried

Both are well capable of big hundreds under pressure.
The key will be getting through tomorrow's night session with wickets in hand.

Not sure They both are capable of a big innings under pressure in a test match,
Mitchell yes we have seen it Bracewell hasn’t so is he capable. -

That was a ODI innings a lot different to a test match.
As for tests 74 not out one good innings and 7 failures doesn't tell me he is capable of 150 which is a big score under pressure.I hope he does but a I out of 8 test innings in Test Cricket doesn't prove he can. -

That unbeaten partnership at the end clearly has England on the ropes. I'll be back there tomorrow with great expectations. The scoreboard had us well ahead of the required run rate too.
Only need 2 an over if we bat deep into the 5th day too easy.

Yes. We’re up against it alright, but this England team never gives up. Don’t count your chickens just yet.

We aren't the black caps anymore. Black craps

Broad was very impressive. Amazing crowd for first two sessions and very entertaining by England.
Thought both Tickner and Kuggeleijn bowled OK. But Wagner ran up quickest hundred I have ever seen from a test bowler.
Good luck to Daryl and Bracewell tomorrow. I won't bother heading back though. -

Attitude in the way we play negative and tentative need to be bolder and positive.
The difference between the two teams is a reflection of the personality of the respective coaches. Stead just comes across as conservative and boring.

For all the grief the NZRU gets about its coaching appointments, NZC seems to be just as bad with retaining untouchable coaches. Gary Stead and High Performance Bob Carter appear to have guaranteed jobs for life.
