At las the wait is over. Waiting an extra day for selection just because the game is on a Sunday screws with my equilibrium. Thursday is the day for such announcements.
Anyway, England team here:
England: Steward; Malins, Slade, Lawrence, Hassell-Collins; Farrell (c), Van Poortvliet; Genge, George, Sinckler; Itoje, Chessum; Ludlam, Willis, Dombrandt
Replacements: Walker, M Vunipola, Cole, Isiekwe, Earl, Mitchell, M Smith, Arundell
Overall I'm happier about this selection over last week's. A couple of quibbles - what does Earl have to do get a starting nod? And Isiekwe over Ribbans - that just seems daft to me even though the sauce says Ribbans is off to Toulon next season.
One for the GOM thread but why can't some rugby countries get with the numbering system that changed decades ago?
It's worse than buying fuel in litres to travel miles.
1-15 or 15-1. It's not difficult. -
Nervy start by Italy

All England so far. Not surprising after Scotland last week. Italy gone back into their shells. England score. Yawn.
-
Not much sign of FB Capuozzo so far. Italy pack have been MIA. Could be a long afternoon for them.

Cant understand the logic Doleman is using. England are clearly sealing off as well.

England comms talking up the team into world-beaters.

Very first play of the game had Genge crawling into the breakdown then lying down, just like in Ireland/France yesterday. At least both sides were ignored then.
