Scott fucking Barrett is a fucking lock, not a fucking sux.
We’ve been here before snd it didn’t work. Why are we doing it again?
Did I mention I’m going?
I agree, but I also don't mind them starting him at 6, he's a much better option than Frizzel for the role they are wanting our starting 6 to play. I just think we've got the wrong 6 on the bench, I'd have Akira coming on with a license to roam in the final 15 or so mins. One of Akira's key strengths is with ball in hand, but we rarely use it.

He went alright this year when playing 6. Under Ryan and Schmidt the forward pack appears to be playing much tighter and lots of carries close to the ruck etc. I think SB suits the current structure better than 2019. At worst we will add page 999 to this year's learnings.
-
All I know is we now have a competitive forward pack. SW/BR/SB are all world class and it's worth another shot. We will know a lot more by half time tomorrow!
In the next 12 months, Paps has to stay 7, it's obvious.

@MajorRage And RM at pivot and BB at fullback. 2019 revisited! Someone doesn't give up on "cunning plans" easily!
Different situation now. No one doubts RM has been given the job to steer the cutter, and with JB moving to 12 and Jordan out, BB is the best option at 15 right now

Great way to finish the year. It's going to be miserable if we lose this.

The pack went very well in that first performance of the year against Ireland. Keen to see it in action again.

Scooter is a vastly improved player over this year. Consistently makes the gain line more than most of our forwards, seems to have ironed out the brain farts too

I have had a bad feeling before a lot of games this year.
Funny enough I don't have a bad feeling about this one. We have the best possible team out there, (ST excepted) and we are on the good side of the good/bad game rotation.
I think we flog them.
And then everyone forgets how diabolical this season was and has a good summer.
I add that I am glad this is the last game for the season. I am completely rugby'ed out. I need 4 months off.

Eddie Jones has beeen unusually quiet for him this week. What's up?
He might be trying his hand at coaching?

Well the trend so far this year for the AB's has been good, terrible, good, terrible.
And given they were good against Wales and then terrible last week against Scotland the only logical conclusion one can draw is that they'll be good this weekend against England.
There's really no more need for comprehensive analysis than that, a sparkling win to finish the season I assure all of you.
I had a quick look at scores (2022) and it looks more to me like
Win lose lose lose win lose ... rest are wins
only lost 1/6 games away--SA
won only 3/6 games at home (lost twice to Ireland once to Argentina)ABs scored slightly more away than at home and the opposition scored more points away than in NZ even though only SA won at home.

All Blacks by 20.
I have no idea why but I’m dead serious.
England by 7, I've put money on it

I hope that is a sacrificial jinx!

As always this will come to who wins up front. A big test that will answer questions about our team, is JB the answer at 12, is DP our new 7 and can RM run the cutter under genuine pressure?

I really want to see a statement game, some sort of marker to say ‘we are right in the mix for the World Cup!’.
