All Blacks vs Scotland

BB loves a low percentage kick pass... Does my head in. Looks spectacular when it comes off... But that's the exception

Looks to me as though Scotland not holding weight in scrum....
Looked to me they were not doing it often, just seemed to relax on contact.
Will add along with TJ , I thought Frizzell bought a bit to the game with close in carries etc, seems well balanced back row with him Dalton and Ardie.

I'm sick of these people on here claiming we need to find a second option to JB.
So your answer is not to bother about any back-ups at 12 and just play Jordie there and give bugger-all thought to managing his workload?
The only problem with that is what you do (apart from blaming Foster for being an idiot for not developing MF options) if/when Jordie gets injured.
It would appear we need someone other than DH to cover 12. And that person, whoever they are, probably didn't play at Murrayfield. They would have been better off trying out RTS at 12 because we know what DH brings
I hindsight, I think you're right. Sense they were hoping to get well on top of the Jocks and the give Perofeta or DH a stint at 15 to see how ALB & Jordie went in midfield. Sadly didn't work out.
I hope that ALB game was a one-off. He's normally really reliable.

And I of the opinion we do need an option at 2nd 5, as I can hear the moans of Jordie is injured and noone there to take over. I actually thought ALB looked ok at 12 when he moved there, and as I always tended to prefer him at 13, maybe he midfeild cover? Though we in reality need 2x 12s as well as 2 x13s.
As has been said, need to give RTS more time - he looked OK against Japan. How many years have we have a stuffed up midfield now?

He looked way better taking to the line

@Victor-Meldrew our line defence and in 22 has been mainly decent under McLeod, but it is alot easier to defend there not needing depth in your defence, but when further out we give up so many metres far too easily.

I don't think there's a heck of a lot to "coaching" on the line defence. Comes down to fitness and grit. I wouldn't be too quick to place any of that on McLeod.
I would be quite happy to credit him with the fact we've got to see a lot of on the line defence this year. Practice makes perfect eh?

Sure did and always has in my opinion... It commits defenders and creates space outside him...kinda what a 10 should do š

@Victor-Meldrew The ABs missed 20% of their tackles in this game. Not good enough.

Not in this game for sure, but apart from out wide, I don't think it's been that bad.

Horrible but at least we have a few things straight.
Papali and Savea absolutely must play together, 2 out of 3 settled in the back row.
Letās get rid of Havilli now.
Beaudan Barrett has not been the answer at 10 for about 5 seasons, for all the blame Hansen got for the semi- final he was spot on with moving BB from 10. His kicking and game control utter shite.
Finlay Christie has had two opportunities now, and I think we know what we have and itās not enough.
Havilli is done, we have enough options.
Can anyone really tell me Caleb Clarke is the best wing n NZ? If he does not knock someone out in the first minute not sure what heās good for. Cannot stay upright long enough for an in and away. -
Scotland are champions of not seizing the chance. That was a golden opportunity.
Best ABs were Talea then the bench who were to a man better than those they replaced. Frizzell will start at 6 vs England.
We are really quite crap at the moment.
Oh and I see Razor won.

ALB is running in custard. He isn't the answer. He has the brain, but his body can't match the IQ. Neither powerful nor fast.

Eating my words here..
TJ has been bloody good, think Christie has had enough of a go... -

Yep, the āauraā is still well and truly aliveā¦ā¦.for Scotland.
Best chance in god knows how long and they still fucked it.

Just watched the replay ,alot not to like ,
But I guess withstanding scotlands momentum and finding a way to win is the positive, maybe just a few months ago we panic and lack the composure to rally at the end
-
Few knee jerk thoughts after watching another Fozzie rabble.
Tight 5 largely OK heading in to next year. CT back to his better form was pleasing to see.
Paps 100% is our best 7
Ardie is immense.Thought Akira started well especially in first 15mins... Was still solid after that, Frizzel noticeably more direct when he came on, suspect he will start v England...(if BBBR was available I believe SB would start next weekend) But #6 is still wide open
We do need to be more accurate at the breakdown and more adaptable to the varying officiating in this area.
TJ has really put his name back in the conversation for 9, while imo Christie has almost removed himself from the same conversation.
BB needs to put those low percentage kicks away... I'd start RM next week.
DH = no...JB for me.. And build the combo with either ALB or RI.
ALB not great this morning .. But worth working with... Think the main issues were inside him today.
CC... Has to go.. He's a liability, poor hands and poorer defence...and we have too many better options to keep persisting with him.
Back line main area of concern for me, followed by loosies make up with Fozzie selections
