@NTA Samoa avoid the indignity of having to go through the down trou arse raping of the Sth Africans by deliberately letting in a try to avoid such an act a smashing of that size warranted. Nonetheless 45 - 05 is a complete humiliation and is sure to be met with great joy by my grandson Tusi down at St. Pats Primary Kilbirnie when he learns of the score at lunchtime. Wonder if the teachers will have let the kids watch the game live as part of their cultural and religious studies as there are a good number of other Samoan's in his room anyway?

Arg vs NZ final. NZ have just beaten Aust 33-17.
Commentator here loved Leroy Carter, calling him an all action hero, likening him to Bruce Willis..
..personally I think it is too early to say he has early onset dementia but certainly believe he is the type of character to end up in dodgy movies..

His more controlled aggression in contact is really a standout for this team, and creates so many opportunities. The combination with Webber is fantastic too, with the pair of them probing to put a runner away. Our attack is vastly better recently. I really like Solo as finisher. The kick and chance is so valuable when done well.
Fineanganofo looks like a keeper, and Spencer is doing well for one so young.

And Tom Selleck was playing for Aust.
Payback against the Argies hopefully.

@ARHS It all comes down to the ref. I thought that Nick Hogan (a Kiwi) penalised Fiji off the park in the last 2 mins of the SF.
I have also noticed that players trying to roll away are often held in, and get penalised. That happened to Carter against GB when his leg was quite clearly held. Obviously coached to win penalties.
Laidlaw needs to pick the right starting seven. I was surprised that Dickson, Collier and Nicole all started vs Aust, and their lack of pace on defence was exposed a couple of times.

Quite a long extra time (2 x 5 minutes?) for sevens.
Golden point though.
