some pretty awesome tries in that match, it'd have been easy for the Jaguares to revert to the Argie forward dominated game, however like the Pumas more recently, they really are speeding up thier game and playing some attractive footy, hopefully they maintain thier traditional strength up front too.
 
In an ideal world, we'll have another Argie team in the comp (instead of the Kings) which will help to reduce thier travel which is gonna be a huge factor for them and the Pumas come TRC time.
 
Didnt think the Chiefs would get the job done with the pack they named to start, but they are looking pretty good, and ruined both my multi's for the weekend!

Can we agree that Sam actually started at about chest (upper chest if you like) and the guy slipped or ducked and unfortunately copped it "high"? No real malice involved?

Just watched it on replay. I'm really impressed, and have learned my lesson for not tipping them :) 
Although I'm sure they didn't want to expose him, Moli looks at home at this level, unlike others. The single worst decision I can remember from the Chiefs coaches is taking Yamashita. I have no idea why they did that. 
Bloody fun game to watch. Midfield was good, although I didn't think that ALB was thaaaat good that he should keep Taimanivalu out. Still, as mentioned above, he's looking more at home at this level, and it isn't a weak area for us. 
I'm happy to be 3-1 as it was my hope after 4 games, but also pissed that we didn't put the Lions away.

I think Cane was most guilty of entering that ruck from the side. Was the citing commissioner an Argie?
 
He'll probably get 1 week but who the fuck knows with SANZAR.

Fences are standard for all football grounds in South America. I was surprised there weren't more at this stadium like River Plate stadium.

Don't refs usually award a penalty but skip the card for those kinda incidents? Like when that Saffa slipped into Messam's tackle a couple years ago?
 
Who the fuck knows what SANZAAR will do though. May as well decide it by coin toss.
 
gt12, I think ALB was good enough to deserve the starting spot next week. Otherwise I'm fine with them rotating.

Seems like something you can do away with for rugby games. More wondering if it's really needed for an Argentinian rugby crowd.

I think he might be special too, but he hasn't been that special yet. Sometimes he looks a bit Regan King, hopefully without the injuries.

That was a good game to watch. ALB has always looked pretty good in the Chiefs to me to be honest if a little raw at times.
 
Ngatai must be inching a step closer each week to the 12 test jumper? He's just nice and solid out there and will cart it up if need be.
 
The Chiefs seem to enjoy playing loosies at look, it's almost like they need to select two extra locks in the squad.
 
Ben T is a big loss (compounded of course by Laulala's injury). Dave should have asked Hansen to select the big fella one time last year to keep him in the country.
 
The Jaguares are a breath of fresh air and hopefully they can put in good week in and week out performances.
 
Tony Johnson was obviously shrilling for Matt Todd during the commentary with the way he was wahing on about Cane. Worse than it looked, it would only be a penalty on field if for a tackle and as someone noted above the bigger issue was that he came in from the side.

At this point of the competition, i.e for this match, the Chiefs schedule is way worse than the Jaguares. They did bloody well considering.
 
You seem to be on an anti Chiefs lean here - don't forget Allardice and Horrell still play for them. ;)

Any news on Bardoul's injury? The comms implied it was 'skiers thumb' which is a pig of a thing to heal time-wise and the strapping you need afterwards can restrict your handling ability enough that you will get drafted to the Blues.
