@Old-Samurai-Jack Really has taken his opportunity with both hands.

Better than last week too.
Good to see a few of the boys who struggled a bit last week step up.

@Chris I recently posted that I think Akira is on his last legs. But he’s done nothing wrong in this game. I think we expect him to play like he did against Australia a couple years ago but it seems to me he’s been asked to play a tight game and I think if you look at some of his tackles him and Papallii have been forcing opposition backwards. I have expressed that I wish he would run more direct lines and with pace but I’m not coaching him. So you can ask the Ryan why this is not happening. And then when he makes a run and no one there to clean out the tacklers so what gives?

Missed 4 tackles, made 7.
You almost need a distinction in missed tackles, clear one on one misses like DeGroot this week and Jordan last week that almost lead to tries are much worse than the slide off or when there is cover.

Good chat Scott....

Difference of opinion then what about the two weak grab tackles not what I expect from a AB 6

@Tim Jordan is much better, yes. Clarke hasn't added much.
What do you think mate? Is Jordie a step up from Havili?

Taylor needs to go.
Lineout is too easy to read.

Not for our guys it’s not

Our link game hasn’t been working as well. We are creating space and making metres through line breaks but we need to be smarter with the ball and in space

He's basically sealed the deal to start the next couple of tests I reckon. So much more composure with him there

@Chris Akira's defence has been awesome so far.
Feel like I'm watching a different game to some others haha.
He’s been very good but as an example of what annoys me is that he still doesn’t use his shoulder. Can make a small difference but in one passage it was noticeable when he wrestled a player to the ground well then BBBR put a hit in followed by a shoulder. The object of BBBRs defence stayed down longer.

Koroibete should be peppered now

Didn't he play well against Australia just a year ago?
