Counties v Manawatu

When I was a kid this was the big match. Two of the top NPC sides and also 'my team' vs my dads.
Rellies all lived in Palmy and often the game would be a school holiday one when I would be staying down there with grandparents.
Good memories. This time around? I am quite confident although the Poo can turn it on at times so a little nervous on it.

@Bones Signed with the Canes I read somewhere
Bugger, him at 10 with Hunt at 15 would be much preferred to Hunt at 10. He even gets more than 10m on his kicks!

Jared Paige an Penasi Malimali showing some real strength and talent. Despite the YC Slade has been a real nuisance for the Turbos in the tight.

I remember these days. Counties won in 1979 and Manawatu in 1980, Wellington won in 1978 and 1981
Counties had a front row of Ketel, Dalton and Spiers. Manawatu had Gary “Axle” Knight.

Best front row ever!Jeez those were the days. Proper rucking allowed...
