@booboo I think CC needed to kick that upfield toward the posts, RI was flying, don't think anyone woulda beat him except the ball, was a big momentum shift in the game that moment.

As for playing 3 locks.. if you do that, the last person you want to get a YC is your openside. That left us with 3 locks and Sotutu as the only specialist loosie for 10mins. The Aussie trio took the upper hand from then on

This really bit us in the ass with Cane going off early. After 60 minutes we looked a bit gassed, had one less forward sub, and the replacement front row were a big step down.

Didn't look like Foketi was supporting his body weight at the end. Should have been a penalty the other way.

Foley was claiming that time was off at the end. Not sure if he really thought that, or was making an excuse?

    That spider cam is informative.

Whitelock approaches ref, points to big screen.

Ref asks Foley to wait. Twice. No whistle.

Foley ignores him and kicks it.

Ref wanders off and does nothing. Whistles kick over.

    Random Frog.

So funny. So when Ref says play, Foley doesn’t, but when ref says wait, he does.

Fark yes lol, he just flopped on the ball, grabbed it then stood up, borderline YC on his goal line. The time wasting free kick was justice.

How to fix the inequities at the breakdown? Bring back rucking

We all no it was time wasting. The only question is why did they penalise it on this occasion, when World Rugby and refs haven’t in the past. They will have a point if this isn’t a turning point in officiating. I hope it’s a turning point. Speed the game up, stop teams having committee meetings all the time, walking back for kick offs, etc - that’s what training is for.

@Kirwan I see Owen's has had his usual post game review...if he wants to be involved he should really get on the referees panel or whatever to try and help the current crop of coaches instead of stirring the pot saying this and that was wrong and he'd have done this or that...

Why? Can't he just be another punter who's doing a "vlog" (probably because he's been asked to) that people can either take notice of or not? Instead he's only allowed to commit himself to more time and travel than just sitting down and recording a video on his farm.

Are all the guys on panel shows and other YouTubers also required to do this?

Rewatched the first half. Havili going off really messed up our backline. Sotutu was bloody good. Retallick shouldn't be on the field. His carrying and defence are weak. Tight five not very good. Barrett should be at lock.

The disruption of losing two 12's was massive.

Yeah all the people saying we missed canes, not right. It is more that the loose forwaqrd trio was well fucked. Scooter is a better lock than BBBR at the moment, should not be at 6. But Foster is a tool

On my rewatch one of the Ozzies actually jumps at the last penaly we took! Should be another penaly the grub!

The three comeback tries were really on ABs errors (first one should've been scrubbed). And these were all not acceptable 'I'd be happy they were all never seen in black again' level errors
    Sotutu misses Foley badly
CC just fucking digs in by dozens of metres
Jordan can't tackle or even slow Samu

"winning" penalty for Oz was Akira being unable to actually clean in a normal ruck, pathetic

That winning penalty was a fucking joke. Reynal stood right there as Foketi crawls into the ruck on his knees to jackal. He was never on his feet.

I was fucking seething as we scored the winning try because I still thought we had lost the game over that call.

He was shite in Chicago in our first loss to the Irish too.

    A fucking toerag
