It would be beneficial if the ABs lost Puma2 and Bledisloe

Cheika even thinks Robertson is a great coach a piece from the Pumas press conference.
He’d been asked about No 8 Pablo Matera, who helped the Crusaders win a record-extending 13th Super Rugby crown this year, and played a big hand in a superb performance by the Pumas’ loose forwards
“I think that the Crusaders have made a really huge mark, and Scott Robertson has made a really huge mark on Pablo. He came here to learn more about rugby, didn't come here for money or anything like that, and it shows the quality of the franchise and the coaching here, he's come back a heaps better player - mentally and technically.
That is some A level mind games right there, well played Cheika.
I’ve actually changed my opinion on Cheka a bit after watching him on Stan in their rugby media team ,
He has a bit more humorous mischief about him in the Eddie jones mould than I thought

I said that above, it's the only way NZR will get is head out of it's own arse and see what everyone else sees. Maybe foster would find a shred of honour then and resign. Hopefully swiftly followed by the board and Robinson
My head is hoping for 3 more losses, tho my heart won't

on the front row substitution:
The All Blacks achieved some dominance over their rivals during the opening 40 minutes, enjoying a clear edge at scrum and lineout time, but watched that dissipate in the second half, after Foster replaced his starting front row en masse four minutes after the break.
Particularly missed was powerful hooker Samisoni Taukei'aho, who scored their first try from a lineout drive and stole Pumas lineout ball to spark the second to winger Caleb Clarke.
Foster hints the decision to replace them was an injury-prevention issue, but replacement hooker Codie Taylor was one of the main offenders, with his team trailling late and desperately searching for another try.But that was only the props, Sami should've stayed

What was he saving them for? Good grief. How many times have we all been told that if your mind is on the next game instead of this one you will come unstuck.
I just don’t get the whole front row substitution on 45 minutes. Sure they put in a big shift, but they’d just had a 15 minute break. Maybe they were shattered, but then why not sub them at half time? And then you’d have to believe that these guys just out of their teens have to be kept in cotton wool while you’ve got Grandad Sam Whitelock putting in a whole 80 minute shift?
They whole thing seems just ad hoc or even random. There’s no evidence of any big brains looking at the entire board that’s for sure.

Gregor Paul also mentioned on a podcast that Schmidt had been approached to work as attack coach during the Irish series but didn't feel it was "appropriate" as he was so close to the Irish. So he stuck to his strategist/selector role until the paddies had departed.
My immediate reaction was ....fuck off then and clear your desk, if that's where your allegiances are.

Let's give Perofeta a 60s losing stint What?
Enough is enough
Make the changes that everyone knows needs to be made
Don't even start on SL and NZR wtf -

Yeah. It defies belief, and everyone mentioned it during the game.
The All Blacks had four chances to challenge the Pumas in the final quarter but they lost three regulation lineouts.
"Sometimes your strength becomes your weakness. That's pressure. Our job is to make sure we learn quickly from it. Executing in those big moments is what Test rugby is all about."
No, that's not pressure, you fucking clown, it's you selecting the same player who had played consistently shit for the ABs this year. That's shit selection, and coaching. What an arse

Sam Cane gets by from being a nice guy from the middle of nowhere. He is an absolutely terrible rugby player. He should get the fuck out of the All Blacks.
I really like him. I think it was circa 2016 he put on the most dominant tackling display I've ever seen against Wales in Cardiff. It was frightening.
But those days are long gone and he is yesterdays man.
He should have been picked for the RWC semi final but Hansen Guardiola'd himself by trying something mental in a knockout game.
The talk about succession planning is a farce when Hansens assistant gets the head coach role and then gives the same bloke that was dropped for the semi the captains armband.
I remember at the time thinking this is a weird decision,
Just named the guy captain that you lot couldn’t fit into the team for the most important game in 4 years
Apparently the team are rebuilding. Have been since 2019, despite only a couple of retirements after the cup (read, sbw, Ben Smith). How the fuck is a team, with the same coaching ticket and virtually the same players rebuilding? And how the fuck can it take two and a half years?
I think Foster is the kind of guy who’d take 20 years to put an extension on his deck in the back garden

Don't even start on SL and NZR wtfSadly maybe NZR have got themselves into a position where they have no choice but to stick with Foster. Unlikely Foster will just resign although if they lose the next three tests he might.

I woke this morning fully expecting to see that Cane had fallen on his sword. Not because I buy into the claims that he isn't a good enough player but because he is more likely than Foster to take it on himself to give things the showing of consequence that some of the team need to see.
The fact that players aren't thinking out in the battle and not following instructions from him is enough to say that for the good of the team he is going to pass the baton. Any players that disagree with that decision can look at themselves in the mirror for the reasons. -
Don't disagree with those saying the difference was largely in the forwards (as always).
But the scene was set for this one from the outset when our first backline play was a Havili crash ball straight off 10, and we followed it a few seconds later with an insipid Mo'unga high kick to nowhere
Players being asked to do things that don't suit their game, us wasting the decent ball we have.
I also think a lot of blame for our performances should be laid at A Smith's feet. We relied on him so much for so long, and now he offers no game management, no clever kicking, certainly no sniping. Time to move on I think, at least for the EOYT

Any players that disagree with that decision can look at themselves in the mirror for the reasons. This iteration of the All Blacks and the NZRU aren’t self-aware enough to resign, and that’s actually sad. The problem with being consistently excellent is that it looks a lot like self-satisfaction or arrogance, and there were a lot of commentators around the world waiting for a chance to put the boot in. Now their chance is here and they’re not even bothering to hide their delight. They’re mocking the team that for years was the benchmark, and we deserve it.
We’re devoid of innovation. We used to pride ourselves that ours were the fittest players who would run the opposition off their feet, but now apparently we have to sub off 25 year old front row players in case they break down.
We’re determined that our players are so special that we can play them out of position and expect them to outshine opposition counterparts who’ve specialised in those positions for years.
Unfortunately I think we’ve lost our way. We’re unbeatable. But only if others play our game, which is the “proper” way. Like Fezzik when the Dread Pirate Roberts comes along we’re confused that other teams won’t hold still and let us kill them.
The guys in charge will never change that. No amount of self-reflection is going to help unless they are willing to put on the table that maybe the solution doesn’t include themselves. Wayne Smith was able to do that, but these guys aren’t Wayne Smith.
