That's it for me. Got to look for next gen 7 now. Paps/Christie someone else.

he is game as they come. a warrior but he is a yard off the pace.

Fine for 50/55, then get him off.

Conrad was impressed with both midfielders.

My favorite part of the interview is when Dagg brings up Nonu doing commentating and he instantly starts laughing even though he didn't catch it.

It seems Nonu didn't tell him he was doing it even though they talk a lot.

@Tim to that point I’d thought he’d been having his best game in Black.

Agreed re: Nonu. Less Wilson waffle and more Nonu would be excellent.

And we get to do this everytime he comes on screen

And hopefully our current 12s will be doing the same!

Great game by the AB’s. Just watched the game after trying to watch it on an iPhone working out. ST was impressive. Clearing out at rucks fantastic by a lot of different characters. Where was Marx? SB and Frizzel played well although SB was flapping his wings a bit TJP. Put your head done son and play.

And isn’t it amazing how getting over the gain line affects how our backs play? Where was the vaunted Bok rush defense? Moanga played well, and Havilli, since he was not tackling all the time going backwards. Reiko awesome, Clark game breaker but for his mistake. All the backs excellent except BB. Although Whitelock tried one of those no look passes that he was practicing with Cane that created the problem.

Although he was good with the ball in hand, Clarke was involved in both SA tries, and not for the right reasons. Poor exit plays nearly cost the ABs.

And our kicking was better, especially in the last 10, with JB coming to mind. We were so much smarter.

Who was at fault in that first backline move where Jordan threw it into touch, Clarke had come infield and it appears Jordan was expecting him out on the touchline.

@chimoaus I'll have to watch it again but wasn't that Rieko? He should have stayed wide.

@Bovidae hopefully he is able to tidy that stuff up , has the rare ability to beat a first up defender in a one on one and does it often

The way modern defences are its a massive bonus .

I remember when he first broke into the ABs and I was pleasantly surprised with his alround game , particularly defence and ability under the high ball .

So fingers crossed it gets better from here .

@chimoaus there were two plays where we created space and Caleb came in off the wing. From what we could see on TV at least he may have been better off staying wide. That’s what the passer looked to be expecting him to do also.

Or he helped create outside space by coming in? Fast wingers will do that and back themselves to go around the outside.
    Just poor communication?

That might have been a different one, this was Clarke cutting in whilst Jordan threw it wide to no one.

There was plenty of space all right the ball went right into all that space and into touch 🙂 Just a communication issue I think, Jordan should have checked first but it looked like a preplanned move and Jordan just passed expecting Clarke to be on his wing.

I intend to rewatch so will look out for that. The one I am thinking of was in the 1st half.

I'll try and find it and watch again. My query is how that space was created in the first place. If Clarke had dragged his marker in then maybe Jordan hadn't realised that.

I know Clarke is copping some crap for his missed tackle but it was technically a good tackle that he appeared to just slip out of. Maybe he should have gone higher or lower, but I think 9/10 on players that tackle sticks.

I'm more annoyed with Sam Whitelock's silly pass in the 22 than with that missed tackle.

I know what you mean. Watching the replay, it was like "shit, how did he fall off that, he did everything right!".

As an aside, how good was JBs tackle on PSDT? Lined him up, picked his moment, then the low acceleration into his legs to take him with pace and avoid any fend attempt. Fucken loved it
