A little bit sad that some really good/great ABs may be rested/retired after things haven't gone well. I can think of 5-6 forwards.
AB coach, Captain, players have all tried hard. I'm frustrated with NZR -

Based on their performance over the last few years, with SANZAR dealings, the AB coach search and Silverlake, what makes us think they have a plan B?
Given their Plan A, I have no interest in following their Plan B.
You assume they have a Plan A?

@Victor-Meldrew who knows, but the current CEO/Board along with Fozzie are all part of a larger problem.
I mean NZR should really have put the wheels in motion at half time last week, but you know they will have done Jack shit.

Maybe they will surprise. I guess we'll find out next week. How exciting!

That all sounds good until you realise that @MN5 and @mariner4life have already been there for week and there's nothing left that you'd take a second look at.

Don't worry. They are in the hot boxes. The were told not to touch

Anyone think he is sacked regardless of result this weekend or is he safe?
Would a 1 point win save him?
He got a bit tetchy towards the end of his press conference explaining the selections. He's normally pretty laid back, so it was more noticeable.
Hopefully, if it is his last test as head coach, he can go out on a high. If ABs play well, he can at least say I told you so. Big if...

@taniwharugby Hell no!! So he can get another bite of the cherry?

Don't forget the rather big element that they need to fly back and get ready for another test in two weeks. Add in other possible upheavals in personnel and this would have to be really well planned through.
Possibility of a phasing out through the Argies games and a new crack for the Bled? -

Possibility of a phasing out through the Argies games and a new crack for the Bled?Joe Schmidt is already in NZ. There is continuity. And flying to Oz isn't too much of a stretch. Which paves the way for a new coach for EOYT.

Pretty much as I see it - Schmidt caretakes before Razor can take over EOYT and gets to pick his own players.
