@Hooroo cool. You bothered to come here to post that? Huh, maybe you're more invested than you make out...
No, why? It’s an Internet forum and I have it on my phone. I check it every now and then.

I hope Ryan is allowed to make actual changes to how the tight five play. I also hope if he has a say in selection he rises above provincial bias because Taylor desperately needs to be dropped.
Also, if Moat was responsible for the shithouse attack, hopefully Foster can make a positive change here too.
I think not, obviously, so hopefully they are looking some out sense quickly.
Well someone has to take Plumtrees spot on panel. and as assistant coach I guess it would be Ryan., and if Ryan isn't allowed to makre required xhanges he wouldn't be there would he?
If Ryan is stepping up to the Forward coaching job replacing Plumtree,Then it would make sense he takes Plumtrees position as the other selector.
But it is Foster and NZR so probably could be anyone then. From what I can understand he is taking the job of assistant coach which Plumtree was, and Greg Feek is specialised set piece coach? Not sure someone who knows more than me will probably explain his role.

@Hooroo I think the point is well made by your respondent
Being a Moderater I scan the odd thread or two to get rid of the dross.
I happen to comment every now and then too

I’m surprised Macleod survived, our defence was clueless against the Irish.
Jezus, has he?
Hardly seems worth any of the bother.
quite possable a defence coach isnt available yet. everyone has to work through contracts .anyone any good generally has a job
Why does one need to be available to get rid of one that from outside appears to be having a detrimental effect? Let one of the other coaches do it or heck, give the players free reign until you find a coach!
really wouldnt have a clue but would imagine there is a shitload of work goes into a international defence coaches role (not that we could see that in last few tests) foster is filling in at attack so not many coaches left
-
@Victor-Meldrew I wish they had all gone. But shall we at least give the new set up a chance?
-
I sadly think it is likely Robertson has signed overseas hence Ryan takes up the AB assistant coach role.
I understand the NZR in their wisdom think coaches should get international experience but they have to weigh it up with losing their best coaches and the IP that flows into other nations' teams. -

@Hooroo fair enough.
Prolly should add that posting in any thread isn’t very hard or a commitment. It’s just internetting with the internetters

On The Crusaders Website it said he was taking over as Forward coach.
Greek Feek is just the scrum Coach. -
@nostrildamus Why would you think that?
He's made it pretty clear that he's hanging around to have a crack at the top job after RWC2023.

Yeah nah sure, just saying it's a bit weird to post that you don't care. There's a wine thread I don't care about, I don't feel the need to post there about how I don't care.

I didn't see that. Thank you, I feel better now. All I recall is some poster on here adamant he signed an overseas contract to be announced in August.

@ploughboy you mean in the last 5 years since his appointment and our defence has continued to decline... 😉
I'm not sure what they can be seeing that we can't when it comes to measuring his success as a defence coach.
-
@nostrildamus Stargazer will know all the details, but I'm sure Razor is signed with NZR through to 2024, but with a get out clause, basically if he doesn't get the AB job in late-2023.
If he wasn't committed to that he'd be long gone - Razor won't have to worry about feeding his kids in the foreseeable future - one of the hottest rugby coaching commodities on the planet.
