I’m going to bet that one (Moaar) or maybe two (Moaar, Macleod) assistants get the ass, but that Fozzie stays on.
Will they even be that brave?
But Foster chose them. And he hasn't sought to replace them. So again, his decision making is called into question.
If the NZRU force him to change his assistants, what is to say the replacements fare any better if the man at the top is the handbrake?
Firstly, I’m not defending Foster - he should go - but I’m also not convinced that NZ rugby will do the right thing. Robinson has run the place into the ground so I cant see them admitting they got the Foster appointment wrong. However, I wonder whether they think that a few assistant heads might keep the public happy.
Thats a big fat No to just the assistants. They are all culpable as far as Im concerned. NZ rugby is rot\ten to the core and this needs - no - demands a complete clearout.

Put the poll up on the Fern (given journos are on here getting free content 🤣).
I have a feeling any such poll will have a result like a Russian election.

Good call. Done.

Sorry but it’s better in the long run for the rest of us if he stays. Go Fozzy go!

Fuck you very much
Edit: the best money is on your vote though

@Catogrande F#$k, I was thinking, who the hell?

I wonder if Sam Cane will step down as Captain and that will start something rolling.
-
Full team will stay on until the SA Tests (maybe an Assistant will leave) but Schmidt gets more of a hand-on role.

Leave Foster in NZ to coach by Zoom. Worked a treat for test 1. May work again 😁

I can't see Cane resigning unless he truly feels that he isn't good enough to be the NZ no7. I've not seen any evidence of that.
Read was a shadow of his great self for the last 18 months of his career and didn't step aside.

There are now 12 or 13 tests between now and the world cup, aren't there?
That is enough time to give to a new coach to have a chance of putting his own stamp on the team and effecting a culture change.
But it has to be now. Not after SA or the 4N. If Foster is in place still after the 4N, you know that the NZRU have decided to ride it out, because it'll be too late to do anything at that point with only the EOYT and a couple of tests next year available.

remember the Amazon "all or nothing" documentary when Hansen asked should they put Rieko on the left wing instead of Julian Savea in training and fozzie replied " ahh its a dumb idea today".
Rieko went on to rip the lions apart.
Foster is completely and utterly incompetent.
