All SR games as a LH. The same for Ta$man (I didn't check every game).

Rugby Database: Ryan Coxon Player Profile & Stats

I had a look at that website and the way they publish team lists is confusing. I couldn't see in those lists whether he played at LH or TH. They only say "reserve" and often the lists are in a weird order as well. So I decided to check the official Chiefs team lists for all his Chiefs games. In all those games he was named at 17, so indeed at LH. Not sure why Ta$man lists him as a TH. Anyway, the Crusaders need LH props more than THs.

In the games that Coxon has started for Ta$man he is at LH.

What about Teague McElroy ? He is a NZer and a powerful scrummager. Is he still injured ?

@cgrant forced to retire from concussion symptoms. Big shame, as he was in line for a full SR contract.

Michael Alaalatoa has just finished up with Leinster for the year so he might be an option.

When asked, Robertson said it was someone who hadn't played in NZ before.

Coxon has played a few games for Burnside this year.
The new prop has definitely played in nz before. Just not for awhile. Don’t think TW is playing tomorrow. So he’ll be straight in.
I wonder what happens if they legitimately have no props for the playoffs.

Here's the rules for 2021, which probably haven't changed much - Section 3.18 is the relevant one.

@chchfanatic I'm sure Ben May would be happy to make an appearance.

Will Jordan has re signed with the Crusaders it should be announced soon.
And @crucial no I didn't read it in an article I was told by some one who knows,That is why I am posting it.
Just to clarify so you don't have to be negative about that as well.

@SBW1 I feel the same about this as I did about Charles Piutau leaving, I'd rather players that are committed to the All Blacks stick around.

It's self selection for passion in the professional era. Compare those decisions to someone like Rieko Ioane, who could earn huge amounts overseas but his focus is on more than just cash.

    Makes the All Blacks better.

@Kirwan Totally agree, LF has made quotes in the past about not really caring about the All Blacks, which is his prerogative, but I'd rather not fight it, when there are wingers growing on trees.

I don't know if he was ever a first choice All Black. His sendoff against Ireland last year probably didn't help his cause. Razor initially talked about him early on as a centre, he has lived up to his hype at the Saders. Aumua will be a big plus for us.

Ryan Coxon was a tighthead for the U20 team - not sure if that was because it was his main position at the time (and they tried to switch him afterwards), or if he was simply selected there as we first had Tim Farrell and then Ezekiel Lindenmuth at loosehead who were looking good.

I think I remember reading Harry Allan's name in a wider Canterbury training squad earlier this week - interesting that they don't seem to have called him in.

The Cantabs rumour hit rate hasn't been great this year but I 100% hope you're right with this one. 😉
