All Blacks v Ireland - 1st Test

Match prediction: lots of lol swearing on here and #FosterIsFat vitriol, followed by complaints about said fat jokes.
Can't make my mind up which way this one will go, which is the joy of the first Test of the year. Don't think it will be close either way though. Irish will either tire quickly and get runover, or a Card Magnet will strike and the AB's will fold chasing the game.

This conversation is driving me fucking nuts.
We're playing a lock at 6 to hopefully make up for the fact that we are playing an impact 7 at 8.
At what point are the selectors going to man up and make a choice that it would be better for AB rugby to lose Ardie Savea, so that we could get some fucking balance?
Fuck him if he leaves because he has to play off the bench. We'd be better off.
So if Ardie is a 7 playing at 8, why is he picked in world VXs at 8, why does he look to be the first player named in any super team while playing at 8? He is a pretty capable 8, and because he can also play 7 doesn't stop him being a bloody good 8. Who has said he will bugger off if he is on bench, that is just making shit up and seemingly trying to make Ardie look like an arsehole.
People pick World XVs based in highlight reels. Just watch him play and how he never shifts bodies at rucks. Always leans or one out. Isn't tall enough to be a good option for lineputs.
Those are considerable gaps to be overcome in a loose forward trio.
Or based on sympathy.
Sergio Parisse got picked in lots of them despite over 100 test losses.
Because he was a good player. Thinking someone can't be a good player because their team loses is akin to thinking Christie is faster than Akira because he's smaller.

Don't forget @Crucial to come on and tell us how basic we are for daring to question a tactic or selection when we don't know what's going on inside camp.

The jury is out until I see some sprint times.
Parisse was definitely good but would have been better if he was a bit lighter and faster.

Red
Red cards get tries?
Red Barret
Red for the obvious Barrett, yellow for one of the other Barrett’s.

Reminder before kick off that this is a www.raeburnshield.com match too!
New Zealand haven't held it since 2017 and our last challenge was a failed attempt against Ireland in 2018!
