    Congratulations Crusaders and fans.

    Far far too good.

    They kicked our ass.

    Whitelock is amazing.

Thought Sotutu was Blues best. Perofeta pretty handy in a team that got pumped.

Hopefully these Crusaders transition this form to black - they were simply brilliant.

Blues decision making has been terrible. Nock went missing several times. Awful play.

Nock is terrible. Always has been

The problem is the lineout though

    10 lineouts lost

9/19 vs 11/11. An extra possession every 8mins. That’s the match

That just absolutely kills any team. Whitelock was huge in that regard, really psyched out Eklund to the point he was just throwing it straight to him at times.

All I can hope is that Fozzie took some notes from Razors masterclass as that is how the ABs need to play.

@kev the problem is that Nock went missing at the base of the ruck, as he so often does.

Ofa picked it up for absolutely no reason, can't see why Nock is to blame.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic finals footy from the Crusaders and their mastermind Razor. The Blues have been superb this season. But the Crusaders were at their very best when it really mattered and go home with the trophy, again.

Kinda sucks we can't play Jordan at 15 for the ABs, the kids positional play is excellent and the metres he covers each game is just stupid.

@Duluth of course he’s going to make metres when he’s standing on the fucking wing!!

Did anything come from those metres? Nope.
Did you get smashed off the park in the collisions and breakdowns? Yep
Would having your biggest loose forward at the breakdown help?

I would also add, how many of the tackles were dominate?

It's the same shit we saw from frizzel... Just goes missing when the going gets tough.
what we need is a hard hitting scary mofo in the 6 that can turn the tide in a game like tonight ...

Last one to come close was Squire imo

Have a look. He went in to help BB with up and under and was at the bottom of a previous ruck. Comment like this just reflect bias.

I always fully believed the Crusaders would be the team to beat despite the run of the blues , I was absolutely staggered that the TAB had the Blues as favourites..they got that totally wrong ..
I was even more confident the they would win after the semi finals last week and when Whitelock was cleared to play I knew he would play a massive part at line out time …no offence to my 2 Northland boys but they were up against a couple of locks that were world class ..

Watching Sir John Kirwin has been embarrassing and tells me everything why he should never have coached the Blues ..just a fan boy congratulations to the Crusaders, truly amazing franchise their attention to detail is next level ..

Just wish the All Black team was being selected this weekend ..
There’s at least 3 or 4 who would not be in my team .

Difference was the Saders had a completely simple and unshakeable gameplan. Tackle. Possession. Tackle. Run, Territory. Tackle. Everyone do their job. Did I mention tackle. Hard to see what the Blues gameplan was.

    Razor still needs overseas experience?

It was a fucking abysmal decision not to appoint him AB coach after 2019 RWC. Credit to him for staying in NZ would there must have been serious coin on the table for him to go overseas as the muppets at NZR suggested.

I hope he's not passed over for AB coach again.

Oh. Nock said "Hey Ofa, look around, pick up the ball, look around again and then awkwardly roll the ball through your legs"

I didn't hear it on my feed, sorry.

I'm not sure we can blame Akira, it's not like any of the Crusaders loosies were dominant. It was the Crusaders entire pack and the work from 9 and 10.

If they had one it disappeared at the line out

Agreed, A Ioane looks great when things are easy but you never see him when the going gets tough, just like tonight.

Clearly it wasn't to win the lineout.
