Agreed…but please get carded for celebrating in football so I doubt they’re the only one
My feeling was pitch evaders are the ones breaking the rules so are fair game

@kiwiwomble I didn't have sound on, did they say what it was for? I'd be interested to know what soccer rule she was breaking.

There was sound but you could only hear the commentary from the guy taking the vid. It consisted mainly of the word piston wristed gibbon.

I just assumed there’d be something vague like interacting with the crowd at all

Yeah I'd be loathe to describe a pitch invader as "the crowd".

@bones me too, as I say, fair play…don’t want to get shoulder charged? Don’t get in the pitch
It would be interesting if he made an assault complaint to police.

"So, you ran onto the pitch then got smashed by a girl? Here's your fine. Fuck off..."

... and I would be loathe to describe the officials as effective managers of what is happening on the field.
The angry looking referee-ette strutting about with her serious face on, doing nothing; and the pair of part-time unfit security guards who arrived - late - and appeared to be relying on their voices of reason ... "Do please be better behaved sir, please now."
Then they let boof run away while they sauntered after him, hoping he would escape!
Someone had to do something! 😂🤣 The young player was the only one displaying any initiative.

Jesus I hope we don’t head down that route

Fair enough. No arms.
Aussie Chickkickaroos skipper deals with pitch invader.
Couldn't think of an appropriate thread ...
I loved that hit
Same. That's what my upvote was for.

I don't remember any of the Boks or ABs getting carded when they took out Pieter Van Zyl, or when Nonu took out a pitch invader once.... Once you enter the field of play in that manner you are fair game IMHO. It was all smiles from him but who knows what the guy's full intentions were? I would expect Monica Seles to agree with me

Bit if a kitchen themed Dad joke.
Where do you keep the salt?
Salt cellars.
Where do you keep the wine?
Wine cellars.
Where do you keep the knives?
Monica Seles.
Where do you keep the children?
Fritzl's cellar.

I’m pretty sure there were some repercussions for Andrew Symonds when he shoulder charged that streaker during an ODI more than a decade ago.
