T20 World Cup 2021

Australia to win, with Davy Warner at the forefront - all just to annoy me!
So - any changes to our team for tonight?
If it's going to be similar to the Afghan game, I'd be tempted to bring in Jamieson for one of the spinners. Probably Ish - who I'm reading has a poor record vs England and a KJ/Ish swap would strengthen the batting a trifle.
They could also bring in Seifert, but that would expose the remaining bowlers too much I think for marginal gains with the bat.

So, a 3am start v England looms...
Not sure what to make of this one. The relative lottery of T20I's, 'yet another bloody ICC knockout game'... and it would be very nice to knock England out after the 2019 drama.
Midnight our time.
Sorry, will have to miss it.
Booboo in bed. Best effort I can muster.

Thank me later

Looks like we let England get away a bit too much during the middle period. Need some tight overs now to try and keep the score down.
No idea why Cane experimented with Phillips for. He's a part timer and was always a big risk against the powerful English batsmen, he ended up giving England the momentum back.

Shithouse death bowling by Ish and Milne
Yep, we don't really have any good death bowlers.
To be fair, the bowlers have been the best death bowling unit in the tournament and have done a good job of getting us this far. It will have to be up to our shallow batting line up to get the job done today, it seems

Definitely some curious bowling choices today. That might have been Phillip's first over in the tournament?
I thought Neesh might have bowled two overs at the death. But he's back on at the last over, starting with 0/7... and now a wicket and a boundary...

Yeah, I think that was Phillips first over too.
