What is Vai doing? Don't be such a ball hog. Pass.

He won the crucial turnover at the end

Only after essentially causing the turnover to Ireland...

    Yesssss, we're in the Final!!

Ng Shiu showing good strength. Also really like how Rokolisoa has been playing this weekend. Probably the best of the team.

    NZ 22 - 19 Ireland

The look on the Irish players faces at the end of the game.... Feel sorry for them.

    Rokolisoa

First time he's looked at home at this level for me, he's looked out of his league in previous years, but starting to remind me of Cama.

I said before the tournament that - because it was their first tourney - at least a fifth place would be a good result.

They've already exceeded that. Top 2 in their first World Series tournament in two years.

@stargazer Don’t like our odds we lost to them twice in Fiji BUT to get to the final is a massive achievement. Funniest thing I saw on FB were the cock SA fans saying were still the best and we’ll win easy even with NZ and Fiji back.

South Africa playing for 7th. Hadn't lost the first 4 tournaments and now lost 3 in a row.

    Suck it.

We've got a pretty unconventional "style" that may throw the Fijians a bit if we get the bounce.

    Or we'll get dicked.

    Most likely the latter.

But hei aha, nothing to lose!

Hard to put a finger on it, but they look a very "together" team with a good mix of experience and young talent.

And, as you say, greatly exceeded expectations,

According to the commentators, the Argentinian players "love to score tries".

    Bugger me.

The defensive reads from the new players will have to improve for us to hold Fiji. Ng Shiu and Collier going really well and Ware and Rokolisoa are real threats on attack. Leo Carter and Vai have all had some good moments. Good luck NZ.

Oz keep their cool against the Oirish, who lost it a bit when it mattered.

    Onto the main event.....picking Fiji.
