That's why I don't criticise Ardie for going for a try. We were in attacking position and they were under penalty pressure. IF the gap had opened by a try that would have given us a real advantage in managing the game.
Totally agree - and with the ABs strategy. My only complaint is that while Ardie went for the points when it wasn't working, he should have done it a bit earlier to get us more than 3 points ahead.

It's entirely fine and proper to point out a player isn't up to Test rugby at that stage of their development. That doesn't rule out maturity and improvement. It certainly doesn't rule out criticism.
Again that's not the argument. It's when a player is ripped to shreds as being shit, not up to it etc. And again let's stop pretending nuance is a thing here.
