Ioane just a little off so far.

    R? A?

    A. Not inn terms of actually being offside there, but everything he touched last week turned to hold. This week he's just a bit mortal

He's playing in closer this week, so hit ups rather than taking the space out wide.

LJ also being used out wide this week.

    Great performance so far.

Some really average headless chook stuff during the half tho

I didn't see too much of this?

Good lead at halftime. Forward pack going well, argues defending well but can’t see them keeping up in the second half

The team is humming along nicely. Jacobsen and Aumua having strong games which just grows that depth even further.

@machpants Not too concerned tbh. We were a bit slow at times arriving to breakdowns and the odd silly penalty was given away which happens but other than that, we were fantastic.

For all the criticism our coaches get and yes, we're not the finished artice yet, they're doing more right than wrong so far.

This is the worst I’ve seen an Argie attack for some years. It’s guys standing around, no flow, the halfback trying to ignite something and there’s nothing there. And that was at the 15 minute mark. Didn’t improve as the half went on as they were stuffed from all the tackling.

The Northern Hemisphere style can get quite static. Wonder if Boks will have same issue? They will be better at dominating contact and breakdown though.

so if the loosies were better last week is that because of the opposition or missing Ardie at 8? Jacobson sounds like he is playing ok...

Didn't even notice paps till he scored that try

Plenty of discussion and action when things haven't been going well and changes made

Possibly due to BBBR with captain training wheels on...but otherwise he is playing well

@delicatessen he won the turnover penalty which was the reason the ABs had that lineout in the first place.

Aumua for a first test start is very impressive.

Not so keen on 2 lineout throws in their 22 being easily picked off...

    Totally.

However if we took the opportunities as well as we did Vs Oz, it would be closer to 40 nil. Just some average skills and decisions during the half.

Argentina offer nothing beyond defence, a bit sad

@delicatessen He won the penalty to get us downfield to score that last try, and imo, has been fantastic on D, in tandem with Ioane, Jacobsen and Retallick.

@bones pretty sure those were his only off throws. A work on yes but he’s been superb everywhere else.

From who? Sure a couple of dumb penalties but that happens all the time.

I reckon we’ve played pretty safe. We’ve made some good little runs off to get over the gain line but we have hardly thrown an offload or 50/50 ball.

A few times we weren’t on the same page but that’s more lack of experience and combinations.

    I think we’ve done okay.

Good half overall. A few errors when we tried to open them up but when that didn't work we've reverted to grinding them down by dominating possession and making them tackle all day.

Argie have not brought much at all.

Plummer deserves some credit for the way the forwards are going. I thought oneof the problems between 2017-2019 was having no real forwards coach. Stu Cron was a scrum guru but .....

Hope so. Might see Scott take over after the 8th try
