Fuck. I didn't realise the ABs lost.<br><br> ;)<br><br>
Only two moments would I want back in that game: injuries to Douglas and Giteau. Those fucking sucked</p>

<p>It's Ben's fault. If it wasn't for his avatar I'd swear he was austrayan</p> -

<p>Maybe its a clever trick? ;)</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>There are decisions that I am not thrilled with. There are decisions that I think "fucking hell Keps, what were you thinking?"</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I take Ben's point, but if experience has taught me this, complaining too much about the ref on TSF when your team just lost to the ABs is asking for trouble. I've said my piece on a couple of them, mind.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>But what the fuck can I do? I've looked into the time machine specs and the energy required is just too great. I cannae do it. I dinna have the power.</p>

<p>Enjoyable 2nd watch - Random Thoughts:</p>
<p> </p>
<div>- Must be kind of awkward in the players tunnel next to your opposition just before the match</div>
<div>- I wonder what Conrad's injury was or was it really a tactical substitution. He looked pretty good setting up that try in the last play of the 1st half</div>
<div>- Watching it live I didn't really realise how much we dominated that first half</div>
<div>- Kepu very lucky not to be called o nthe NMS headhigh plus face grab</div>
<div>- Read didn't let a buggered ankle bother him</div>
<div>- Hooper messed up big time coming out of the line to tackle SBW just prior to the offload to Nonu and the preceding try. A wee bit of bad luck for the wallabies there when suddenly they had 5 guys flat-footed standing in a bunch.</div>
<div>- Wayne Barnes forward pass talk was classic between Marshall, Smithy and Nisbett</div>
<div>- Hearing swing low, sweet chariot was just fucken ridiculous</div>
<div>- That 49th minute scrum domination was awesome and should have signalled total annihilation of the wallabies, amazing effort to bring it back within 4</div>
<div>- Beale was very dangerous in space, folau not so much, might have been better to start at FB?</div>
<div>- I wonder why Nigel changed his mind on the yellow card, seemed a bit weird listening to the conversation between him and the video ref.</div>
<div>- I wonder if there is now an issue with having a hooker as a captain, losing your leader after 60 minutes has got to be disruptive.</div>
<div>- Love how Owens just seemed really keen to keep the game alive, and I know some aren't keen about them but I love his little quips at the players. (don't swear you're on telly) It is just a game after all.</div>
<div>- Lots of buggered looking wallabies at about 60 minute mark..Barrett must have been licking his lips</div>
<div>- Ben's 10 minutes was closer to 14, All Blacks forgot how to kick it out..</div>
<div>- That Genia kick was perfect and Foley did awesome to set Kuridrani up, should someone have been covering there? Savea seemed an awful long way away</div>
<div>- Barrett's kicking ability just adds a whole extra dimension to the ABs</div>
<div>- Awesome to see Carter screaming at the players to pump them up</div>
<div>- No smiles from Carter after the DG, total focus or exhaustion?</div>
<div>- Loved the commentary for Barretts try. Definitely prefer Marshall as a fan boy rather than someone who goes way over the top taking the opposing view.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Looking forward to some classic battles between these two teams in the years to come!</div> -

<br>
Well there are a few over there jegga playing the victim card which is a bit sad especially when most are congratulatory and recognise that the ABs dominated the play, tempo and territory for the majority of the test. -
<p>Hey I was watching one of the ball carries Mitchell had, where SBW slaps it out of his hands (a move which I'm not sure is covered under the laws). It looks like he flicks Mitchell on the chin or jaw as his hand goes down. Hard to tell on the Foxtel Play PC app.</p>

<p>Nah you can strip the ball in a one on one tackle ;)</p> -

<p> </p>
<p>LOL. Old habits die hard eh?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I've always found that interesting with the knock-on situation generally - a ball gets ripped out by an opponent, and sometimes its a knock-on and sometimes the ref calls play on. Can depend on the situation but occasionally you see a ref fall on the side of "player in possession is responsible" and all that.</p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p> </p>
<p>But what if I'm carrying the ball in two arms, ready to pass, and an opponent slaps it out of my hands AND it goes behind me i.e. forward from their perspective. Law 12.1(f) doesn't actually exclude a situation where the ball is currently in possession of a player:</p>
<p> </p>
<p><a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://laws.worldrugby.org/?law=12&language=EN'>http://laws.worldrugby.org/?law=12&language=EN</a></p>
<p> </p>
<div>
<blockquote class="ipsBlockquote">
<div>(f) Intentional knock or throw forward. A player must not intentionally knock the ball forward with hand or arm, nor throw forward.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Sanction: Penalty kick. A penalty try must be awarded if the offence prevents a try that would probably otherwise have been scored.</div>
<p> </p>
</blockquote>
<p> </p>
</div>
<p>So what if Player A is about to deliver the last pass to an unmarked winger and Player B (opponent) slaps it out of their hands? :think:</p> -
Was it a slap or a strip? With Mitchell I thought the latter?

That's my angle.</p></blockquote>
<br>
That angle only works if you ignore all the crap that Aussie got away with. Which you are. -
<p>Poor old Ben, putting his head above the parapet and duly getting it shot off. All he is saying is that in his opinion NZ got a little more out of the officials than the Aussies. Not saying he's right and these things are almost always a matter of opinion, even if someone nerdy enough goes through the whole match listing the bad calls or no calls. Even then though it is still mostly a matter of opinion. Nowhere (that I could see) does Ben suggest the rub of the green influenced the eventual outcome of the match or that the Aussies should have won had so and so not done such and such etc.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Ben. When will you learn?</p> -

We are just asking him to back up his opinion. The fact that some posters have found five acts of thuggery from just one player suggests he's pretty far off the mark. <br><br>
All games have mistakes from the ref, and they always go both ways. To suggest NZ got the rub of the green and Aussie are somehow hard done by isn't correct. -

<p>You just haven't seen the GAGR video yet. Probably still in post production.</p> -
Putting your head above the parapet, just because will likely get shot at...<br><br>
Now if you put your hand up and ask for a cease fire cost you gotta go take a piss, you get laughed at and a few shots but at least you people know what you are up to. -
Don't wish to rain on their parade, but it's absolutely pouring down. <br><br>
An idea could have been to allow the players to go home, spend a few days to freshen up, and to return to Auckland. <br><br>
There would be a designated route, ending at the Aotea Square.<br><br>
Public transport, with extra buses. <br><br>
Then families could all enjoy the occassion. -

<p>You clearly don't work for Auckland Council. Far too pragmatic. Next you'll suggest the parade could be located at PT hubs, or even on a weekend so school kids could swarm the place.</p> -

<p>Neither word is defined - there was a tackle earlier by Conrad that was a definite strip, and i think SBW stripped one, but I saw him slap at the ball to dislodge it as well.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Mitchell not showing enough ball security overall.</p>

<p>It is good point you bring up NTA, I tend to hold my breath wondering when it a penalty or not in a knock out of players hands situation. Or when it a knock out or a strip.</p>
