Moli?
Ah, had forgotten about him. Is he fit now?
@Bovidae will have the best info, I imagine, but he's playing club footy at least.

Moli only played the one game for the Chiefs and I don't think he went to Aust. That implies he isn't 100% fit. I don't know if he has played for Varsity since then.
Laulala, Ta'avao and Lomax is enough for these tests.
I love him, but fuck that. Bring Moli in and get him up to speed or test out Newell (who will be an AB one day).

@gt12 I'd select Ta'avao over Lomax myself. Better scrummaging through SR and not prone to get carded for poor tackle technique.
I'm not sold on Lomax either, but Ta'avao's scrummaging and general play is worse than Mafileo. He should even start at the Chiefs.
-
@kiwiwomble I like the look of Roe and Roigard but they are still very young.
-
How about fidow or is his scrummaging still not good enough?

Hes' definitely not at the level of some of the other props. However, we have been a little light on effective carriers in the tight.
I wouldn't mind seeing him specialise as an impact player off the bench - might be a bit rough if an injury happens early. There are pros and cons - I imagine that Foster will want to play it fairly safe.

Classic interview with Beaudy on the What A Lad podcast: only 30 mins into it and he's already dished out shit on Andrew Hore, mentioned Kneepkens as one to watch at the Blues next year and he wants to play for another 10 years.
If you also skip through to the 50 odd minute mark he talks about why he left the Canes and how hard of a decision it was.
-
@canes4life Nice. Any other good bits?
-
@tim well worth a listen, some great banter. Things like who is the best Barrett on a bender, his response to playing Coles at Eden Park last year and he gives a pretty honest opinion on his relationship with R Mo'unga.
He also mentioned that him, Rettalick and TJ are all available for the first AB squad of the year which I think most of us know by now.
-
@canes4life Cheers. Herald said that TJP was not available recently, so good info!

@tim yeah Christie and Drummond would cause cardiologists around NZ to be on high alert. Both have massive “work ons” and that’s putting it kindly.
Just go back to TTT or give the Northland fella a go.
Fakatava would be my choice TTT has done nothing, Hall sucks behind a poor pack, Drummond has known for poor option taking and Christie depends on his mood.
Doing nothing might be a good thing because the more the other options have done has made it easier to say they aren’t up to it…
