@mackerzzzz I mean yeah they're both Chiefs players but tell me I'm wrong? They're both doing great and dominated the Blues scrum a couple of weeks ago.

I think Hunt needs a look in he's actually marshaled the highlanders very well this season, with the danger of Connor G-Bachop and Josh Ioane
I personally think he is the form flyhalf this season.
Other than his kicking from the T he wasn't that bad vs the Chiefs
Better than mo'unga? No way, different League. And on fire beaudy is a step up again, but he never gets the minutes there
-
Line up vs Italy: (If they first up)

If Italy are first up the All Blacks will play close to their strongest side.

I say no to beaudy and Tj becuase they will both be still in japan
mo'unga has had flashes of brilliance, I just dont think he leads a team like mitch can. Although mitch is helped by some very good halfbacks down there

I think this will be pretty darn close, if we go strongest. 1st XV for sure, Coles will be back up 2 maybe, not sure about Weber or Leceister

@mackerzzzz wasn't it made clear that Beauden is available for the AB's this year?

I thought so, just not the Blues.

Yep he is available as far I have read.
-
will they give Frizzell more chances?
Guy is a beast at Super level, but struggles at International.
Lets not forget, surely Fozzies futures is riding on the next few test matches!
-
@taniwharugby don't we low-key want him to lose then? Would be a crime if razor isn't in the All Blacks coaching staff.
-
@taniwharugby Yup, whether people like Akira or not, the guy is an enforcer with that extra bit of power to his game both on attack and defence. I'd also have Blackadder and Grace ahead of Frizell at test level. Grace is no number 8 from what I've seen but the potential is there as a 6 and both have a harder edge to their games than Frizell which is a must at test level (hopefully people are starting to realise this).
-
I’m a frizzel fan but I think akira proved last season he deserves a few games on the trot so we can see how good he can be once really settled
Frizzel in at squad to keep the pressure on
-
@kiwiwomble Yeah don't get me wrong, Frizell is ok, but don't think that he's good enough to start at test level. Good enough to be around the squad.
-
@african-monkey agreed, ive conceded he hadn’t stepped up in the black jersey like akira has shown he might
-
@mn5
When you put it that way...Still don't think they will chuck out an experimental side when they need their first choice players to play together too. If they can blood some players then I'm all for it but I don't think they learn a whole lot with a team filled with newbies even if they win comfortably.

I for one would like to commend the much maligned Super rugby coaches for their ability to turn players that not 8 months ago weren't good test players in to good test players.

Yeah can't say I see them selecting a squad with zero crusaders loosies.
Hunt is a large no.
Who would you bring in then.

There are really very few players from outside last year's All Blacks squad putting their hand up and looking ready for selecting at international level.
Yeah other than Lester Fianganuku and Folau fakatava would have been
